Worse than Snakes on a Plane
17 June 2017
I think the review title says enough. Sub par plot, clueless cast topped off with a boring ending make movies like Snakes on a plane look like a piece of art. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this piece of crap. I am only typing this extra line in order to submit my review

Gear up for a rough ride!!
6 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Armored is the story of a broke security guard who is tempted into joining a staged hijack in order to loot money. No successful heist takes place without a hiccup or two, and in this movie as well, the surprise element is rather funny is what i would call. To imagine, there would be no movie plot,if the hijackers weren't seen stashing the money is a bit far fetched to say the least.

What follows is a series of events, which are predictable to say the least. It is a bit sad to see established actors like Jean Reno (of Leon the professional) and Laurence Fishbourne resorting to such low budget flicks. Its almost as though, they are broke themselves :) There is some pretty bad acting in the movie, with half the characters portraying a confused and uninterested attitude. Matt Dillon is the only person who stands out. It is safe to say, that this movie would have been a disaster without him.

On the whole, with a run time of a little under 90 mins, this is not a bad watch at all.

Never give up in Life
13 April 2011
This was one of the most underrated movies to make it to this year's Oscars. But such was the presence of all the other movies that 127 Hours failed to impress the jury, but nevertheless this is one of the best movies that Danny Boyle has ever made. Movies based on real life stories always have a powerful ending and boy, Boyle really makes you cry at the end.

The plot might seem pretty straightforward, but James Franco has put in an absolute blinder of a performance. Mind you, hogging the limelight for the entire length of the movie is no easy task, and Franco delivers with a commanding and powerful performance. This movie teaches you one thing, Never lose hope and always love back the people who love you.

The soundtrack is awesome and makes the movie more intense. "If i rise" at the end by AR Rahman and Dido is a class act. Too bad it lost out on the Oscars. But surely this is one of the best ever adaptation of a real life story. Hats off to you Mr Boyle and most importantly to Aaron Ralston. This movie will surely inspire many people.

A must watch for horror geeks out there
17 June 2010
Just watched this movie yesterday and boy, it was awesome. To begin with, the apartment in which the events unfold just gives you the creeps. For movies in the horror genre, this is one which can actually give you the scares. There have been other promising horror sequels like Saw, which lost the plot totally after Saw 3.

The movie starts off directly from REC and explores more into the origins of the virus. Occasional first person camera shots add a new dimension to this movie. Jonathan Mellor plays a very convincing role as Dr.Owen. The movie still maintains the original suspense element and it always keeps you guessing about what happens next. The climax in the movie is one of the best I've ever seen. In my opinion, its worth watching the movie just for the climax.

Please don't watch this movie without watching REC as it will make no sense. I hope REC 3 will be just as awesome as its predecessors.
