Terrible
3 August 2010
Lottery Ticket: Review: The film reminded me of how stupid and boring First Sunday was and this even topped that. A man finds out his neighbor has a winning lottery ticket and tries to get it. Well obviously he tries to get it. Not Good. The film is also predictable and this just might go on limited release for two weeks and then go straight to DVD. Take my word for it, you will be disappointed. But, this film doesn't seem very popular so I wouldn't worry about it so much. By the way, I will not be writing reviews any more, only starring them, so you will not be able to see any others. Sorry. But time is money. Lottery Ticket is not good.

Zac Efron should just give up

Warning: Spoilers
Charlie St. Cloud Review: A young teenager's younger brother is killed in a car accident and the when running away from his funeral, he finds his brothers ghost and they play catch. But of course, Charlie meets a girl and now he has to choose between the girl and the stupid kid. Amazingly terrible story that makes no logical sense what so ever. Put a lot of effort into making us think and feel that his younger brother was a ghost. Not. It was just awful acting to and it was really over-done and over-rated. I don't know what this film was trying to achieve but its just going to go down from here. See my Despicable Me Review and my Salt review. Charlie St. Cloud is terrible! Do not see, you will have wasted your money!

Despicable Me (2010)

Okay film

Despicable Me Review: A villain called Gru attempts to steal the moon with the help of his little minions and also deal with his villain competitor. But then, three little problems come along and they are three kids. The film had some funny moments and I suppose was fun but it was turning into a movie that I did not want to see. He was becoming normal or father-like by the second because of the kids, who actually ruined the entire movie. The lead kid was just such a brat and that made the movie annoying, the other kid was just making me mad by being there, and the little girl just gave me headaches; it wanted to shoot myself, that little squeaky voice was just unbearable. See my Predators review. Despicable Me was okay...

Not so good

Dinner for Schmucks Review: We can all tell that comedies these days have started to ride off a cliff, after Grown-Ups and It's Complicated. The film was sort of funny at parts but it just seemed like an excuse to have Steve Carrel do a bunch of stupid stuff and make a few bucks off it. I mean, a dinner for idiots; that's sort of something that doesn't happen very often...The film very open minded and has a fair cast. The best of the bunch was the Mind-Reader. See my Charlie St. Cloud Review. Dinner for Schmucks is not so good and I would rather suggest something like Meet the Parents which wasn't so great either. Dinner for Schmucks isn't great

Inception (2010)

Nolan's greatest movie!
3 August 2010
Inception Review: The film was perfectly made and every single part of it was amazing. This could definitely beat out Avatar, and I say this because people are actually talking about how Inception really ended. Although, I can't tell you anything. But if a movie can get people talking like that, then everyone will want to know about it and see it. Not only that, it had epic action with awesome mind-twisting effects. Inception is definitely the film of the summer and highly recommend it. I definitely expect this movie to show its face at the Oscars and I loved it. See my Toy Story 3 review. Inception is a must-see and a definite classic four hundred years later.

Amazing

District 9 Review: I will make this short. Awesome. The film was so wholesome and realistically made that it just blew my mind away. This was truly the greatest sci-fi of 2009 and I guess we're waiting for the one of 2010. From this point, see all my 2010-Forever movie reviews. Actually, I would like to mention that I've seen all the classics, all the Must-See's, and all the sleepers, and all the epics, and all the dramas, and all the foreign films, and definitely all the shorts. So since those are out of the way, I can give you more today reviews. Don't look for me on any of what I've mentioned because I won't have a review. But I will on all the new films. Be sure to look for me because I'm pretty accurate. I'm just a guy who likes good movies, that's all. District 9 is Great

Best movie ever!

The Dark Knight Review: The most amazing movie ever made; great directing, great writing, great acting, great direction, great producing, great everything! The Dark Knight was actually pretty complicated for a Batman movie and it just goes to show that Christopher Nolan makes the greatest movies of all time! (Memento, Batman Begins, Insomnia, Following, Inception) The story was clever and the characters were amazingly assembled. Heath Ledger was the best of them all. (Note: Dead or alive he would have bin nominated and he would definitely have won)Great movie! This is one of the greatest movies ever made and I was glad to see it. Definitely see this movie, it will blow your mind; also, see Inception review.

What is the big deal?
2 August 2010
Titanic Review: Titanic was written so poorly by James Cameron, that it felt like a comedy. I don;t want to be rude or anything, but it was just so horribly written that I couldn't anything in it seriously. Including the sinking, and I might have bin laughing. Don't take me for a nasty person, it's James Cameron's fault. One part that really annoyed me was the fact that Cameron tried to makes us cry and be dramatic by sticking a dead baby in the water. It made me say, "What are you trying to do James?". I mean, he was purposely trying to be dramatic and when you do that, it fails. It failed for me. It was just a dumb thing to do and I really thought it was a horrible movie. If you think the screenplay in this movie was good, then you really need a doctor.

Avatar is not as great as we think!
2 August 2010
Avatar Review: Avatar was written by James Cameron who I personally think is a terrible writer. We are familiar with his last epic film "Titanic", which was the most cheesiest thing ever. (SEE MY TITANIC REVIEW). Avatar's story was simplistic and dull. There seems to be no reason why it had to be so long. It wasted so much time with him trying to learn their ways when all he truly had to do is ask, "Hey, could you guys move away from your tree, we got to blow it up". I get the whole thing with him trying to gain their trust, but why does he need their trust to ask one question. If "yes" then great, if "no" you die. That simple! Now, the visual effects; everybody thinks the effects are "beautiful" but I think it all looked like a video game. DISTRICT 9's effects were so much better because they more real; you could believe that something like that could actually happen. Unlike Avatar, which was some sort of a cartoon to my eyes. Sure, there was a neat battle scene but it still didn't have the properties of a good movie.
