Fire can be either a raging inferno could eradicate everything in its path or a fiery passion that can bring everyone together and well, increase the room temperature.
There are a few things you should know about me:
A. I'm mostly deaf, but I love listening to the music.
B. I'm gay .
C. I own all four Playstations models (PSOne, PS2, PS3, AND PS4) and I will not sell them.....ever. Though, I was lucky to be given Xbox 360 by my sister several years ago.
D. I love reading dark fantasy/horror novels that involve vampire, werewolves, wizards, witches, demons, ghosts, Pre-Calculus, etc.
E. I love cats. Meow.
On a final note, I used to be Firelover, if there's someone who can remember me from his/her terrible, dark past, so terrible they would be sitting in the corner, rocking back and forth repeatedly and mutter, 'Must not remember, must not remember'. Another final note, this is my 2nd account and I joined in August 2009, so I'm around 11 months longer than that.

Game of Thrones (2011)
Great until the final 3 episodes
I used to be a huge fan of this series but the final three episodes ruined it.
Season 1 to 6: 10/10
Season 7: 9/10
Season 8: 5/10
The only reasons I rated 5 stars in the final season are because of the first
three episodes, acting, CGI/VFX scenes, locations, etc. Except the writing for the final three episodes. To be frank, it could have ended with the White Walker arc and just end it right there. It's been nearly 2 years and I'm still frustrated the way they wrote the final three episodes. It's like a epilogue that should have been used as a deleted scenes. D & D should have taken the offer to extend the series to 10 seasons and they would have saved their reputation.
Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV (2016)
A Solid Introduction to the Video Game
This movie is nothing more than a set up, or as someone said, a essentially long cut-scene prior to the video game. The story may not make sense, but this movie did feature spectacular action sequences with stunning visual effect and the music flowed correctly with the sequence, despite of some complaints of battle scenes being too long. As someone forgot what the genre is, it's an action CGI film. I do think this movie will make sense to some once the game is released and offer some explanations related to this film. Had the movie come out after the game is released, they would probably ease on the harsh negative reviews this movie received, for example, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Luckily, this film is loved by any other fans.
I have not seen the film with foreign languages/accents, but I do think the dubbed voice this film feature is not half-bad and some of the lip sync is a bit off as well as the facial feature accompanied with it. I don't usually like dubbed voices because they usually sound stiff, using the accent wrong, or emotionless, but I was surprised how good this is. Not the best, but good nevertheless. It's all thanks to adding famous actors/actresses volunteered to voice the characters, and I applauded their effort. It also showed they're the fan of the games. Who knows they're secretly FF nerds.....
I actually love the details of the character models and location description, and the CGI is impressive as usual. I love how as years progress on, and technology is becoming more advanced, they add more details and they're almost as realistic as real life people. Some of the scenes, I almost forgot it's a CGI film, not a live action one.
Other than all that, I'm ready for the game to come out and I firmly believe I will enjoy the hell out of it.
Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
The groovy fans of the original Evil Dead trilogy will love this!
Ash is back in action! It has been over 20 years since the last time Ash fought deadites and he has taken a long vacation until the evil has struck again and Ash is sprung back in action with his chainsaw and boomstick back in his possession. But this time, he is not fighting alone, he will bring friends with him to stop the evil once and for all (again).
I don't have to wait for a whole season to pass the judgment on, because I have a high hope this series will be as good as the Evil Dead trilogy, or it can be even better. I cannot wait to watch the rest of the first season and the future seasons it may feature on TV. True, he may be an old man, but it does not mean he doesn't have the same strength as he had one nearly 30 years ago because he will kick deadite's butts!
Welcome back, Ash!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011)
This film brings an satisfying conclusion to the magical franchise
Such an powerful and emotional finale to the magical franchise. I remember the very first time I watch the first film when I was very young. Eight films in ten years, from children to adults. Before the final Harry Potter film comes out, I was afraid it may disappoint me, afraid of creating a negative review, even I have to if it's bad. But I was wrong. This film is really good, tied up neatly. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows brings the Harry Potter to an satisfying, epic conclusion.
This film is very dark, very mature with little humor. Harry Potter have fought a final battle against the dark lord and ended in victory. With a few emotional scenes, including the last scene, King's Cross scene, and loss of my favorite characters' lives, it's hard to fight back tears. The war is about protecting loved ones, friends, families, and ensuring others' survival. Evil always get triumphed over by good.
Good bye, Harry Potter. It's good to see you on films (and books). I will never forget this magical franchise. You will be missed by many, many fans, including me.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010)
Amazing Dark Sequel.
It's a good start to the epic finale. The whole film is dark and gritty, filled with death, violence, and suspense. At the very beginning, the trio were young and unskilled. They never been to such dangerous situations before. Each year passed, they were getting closer to death as they fight for their lives. They survived some unimaginable battles, witnessed shocking things, and learned such dangerous spells in order to defend themselves against the dark art. Now they are ready to fight.
Harry Potter is one of them. First year, he learned about a powerful stone and met a murderer of his deceased parents for the first time. Second year, he learned the dark lord's true identity and the truth behind the incident at Hogwart. Third year, he found out about the dark lord's plan in the past and the betrayal between those who are connected to his parents. Fourth year, he survived three dangerous tasks at such a young age and witnessed the return of the dark lord. Fifth year, he joined the rebellion and tried to convince everyone that dark lord's return is true until the end they saw him with their own eyes. Sixth year, he learned about the dark lord's past and how to defeat him for good. And now, he has a quest from Professor Dumbledore: Search for the rest of the dark objects made by the dark lord and destroy them. But he is not going alone. He is with his friends. They must complete the quest and stop the dark lord once and for all in the final chapter of Harry Potter franchise.
About the film, everything in there are pretty much what I expected from the book. Few character's death are sad. A couple of them gave me goosebumps. One of the scenes made me jump which is a giant snake, Nagini, suddenly popping out of the staircase as if it's coming at you. That one got me. The whole sequence of Godric's Hollow is creepy, especially the creepy old lady named Bathilda Bagshot sneaking around. lol Action scenes are amazingly good. The animation of three brothers is stunning, reminds me of Tim Burton's artwork. I'm bit disappointed that a few good scenes were cut. Even though some good parts from the book were not included in the film. Well, that's okay. I enjoyed the film.
Overall, I gave it 9 out of 10. Amazing. Stunning. Mesmerizing. Almost perfect.
I cannot wait for the second part. Bring it on July!
