I think it was a fitting ending. Some emotional play and pulling at heart strings but I think the Russo brothers got the story-telling wrong here. It does appear as though they ran out of ideas for Endgame since all the great ideas were used up for Infinity War, which I think was a way better film in every sense.

I think if most were honest with themselves, they would agree that this wasn't really a good film but gave it a 10 anyway due to the emotional connection and Endgame being, well...the end.

I've been a registered user of IMDB for 18 years and this is probably only the 3rd time I'm compelled to review anything.

This review comes after a 2nd viewing (binge-viewing) of the series and boy it is even more relevant today than when I first watched it in 2011-16. Many of the issues the world is facing today were portrayed/discussed/presented/argued in the series. The writing/creation of this series was either extremely well-researched or the producers/writers had an all-seeing eye of what the future would be like, particularly in the writing of certain episodes. Watch the whole series, and you'll understand what I mean.

It has a bit of everything: great story-telling, in-depth character development, action, humour, style, substance, eye-candy, strategy, philosophy, ethics. The plots/sub-plots/over-arching storyline may seem excessive at times but there's enough believability in them to allow us to accept them as they are.

But what really stands out for me is how the series makes us think and question all that is going on around us today, the ethics of decision-making.

All in all, a stylish, underrated and all-seeing series that should not be missed.

I hardly write reviews. This is probably my 2nd post here on IMDb. But I just had to say something about Banshee.

I stumbled upon Banshee while looking for an action series to watch. I was pretty certain I would find something; one of those that I missed out on or completely overlooked. When I came across Banshee, firstly, I had never heard of it before. Secondly, I thought the premise - a story about an ex-con turned sheriff - was a tad silly. But I figured, hey, I am looking for an action series after all so I gave it a shot.

The Pilot alone blew me away. A man with a past, fist fights, a love plot, nudity, profanity and some comedy. Its how a proper action series supposed to be. Even the characters were interesting from the get go.

On the whole, there are bits that are unrealistic but if you're critical about them, then you're just over-analyzing. Watch it for what it is. A one-of-a-kind action movie with great fight scenes and good story-telling.

Personally, I find it hard to believe this movie is rated so lowly. It is at least a 7.5 in my books. Its far from perfect, but how many films out there actually question your beliefs and your actions and allows you to reflect on how you can live your life better? How many films make you want to know more about the film, the location, the people, the characters? Trust me, this film will make you more inquisitive and curious and probably open your eyes to the world beyond your borders.

Again, it is far from perfect, but watch it and try to see where I'm coming from. If you do not share my sentiments then, at least Brad Pitt's excellent acting and the gorgeous cinematography will keep your interest.
