Living in Peril (1997)
Contains Spoilers
What started out as a kind of who done it with Walter(Rob Lowe) getting a driver sacked for road rage eventually turns into pure farce. It never explained how his drawings ever got wet at the start. How would he not know the girl was murdered in the bed next to him, after all they only had one bottle of wine between them. With the killer exposed at the end what part did the ex-driver play in all this. Who put the rats in the apartment. Who broke the glass in the car door and if was innocent what was he doing in the apartment block towards the end of the film. The Apartment manager(Dean Stockwell) said he knew all the comings and goings of everyone in the apartments. He missed an awful lot of people
Pointless (2009)
Wrong Final Answer
On the programme shown on the Monday 23rd of January 2012 two teachers from Scotland reached the final and their final question for £6250 was- Name an Australian Tennis player that won a Wimbledon tennis title either singles or doubles from 1980 to the present day. The finalists went for Mark Phillippousis,Mark Woodford and Todd Woodbridge. There first answer was Mark Phillippoussis which was 100 pointer meaning it was a wrong answer. Bong.
Mark Phillippoussis won the Wimbledon Junior Mens doubles championship title with Ben Ellwood in 1994. If I were one of the contestants I would be after my prize money.
Mackenna's Gold (1969)
Could have been a lot better
Oh dear, with so many stars the should have been a great film.It looks like the were experimenting with different types films and making the story up as they went along. Not one of Gregerory Peck's best films. He looked completely disinterested. The story was so far fetched. Why did Omar Shariff leave the gold at the end to go rock climbing after Peck. Scenery is stunning but what a waste of stars. The final sequence with group coming down the mountains was ludicrous . The horses kept turning and turning I thought they were never going to stop. The final scene with the mountain's collapsing were very stagy and rather summed up the film.
