Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)
Good until the last 10 minutes SPOILERS
I loved this film the acting was really good.
The 3 Sisters were just so entertaining as usual felt like they had never changed since the first film.
Everything was going so well till the last 10 minutes of the film.
This is where the Spoilers come in. Remember their supposed to be evil the book was given to them by the devil himself. Yet all off a sudden the book is crying starts having a personality which is just bizare the sisters start having emotions. It really felt like Disney at the end where they just had to have a happy emotional ending. Why just liked the first one just go out as evil as they are. Take away the last 10 minutes the film is brilliant and if they had a much better ending I would have given this 10 stars but it really did ruin the ending.
Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
The gifted talent of Robin Williams
This film is just brilliant full of fun laughs but also has emotion to it.
I really believe only Robin Williams could have pulled this off dressing up as a women speaking like a woman. It really does take special talent to pull that off and Williams really does. He's really missed buy by films like ms doubtfire his memory will always live on.
The Cat from Outer Space (1978)
good as a kid pretty bad as an adult
As a kid I really thought this film was just amazing.
A talking cat just by that as a kid your going to think wow.
At 35 seeing this film again it is pretty poor.
Not aged at all well and at times can be quite boring.
But if you have kids its worth watching with them.
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Save the best till Last
Spoilers included.
Lots has been said of the prequels but this one which should have ended here was almost perfect.
Would almost say its on level with Empire strikes back.
Lets get rid of the negatives first as I would rather talk about the good stuff.
Lets be honest which is the same as all 8 star wars films the dialogue. It is at times so cheesy who comes up with its only cause im so in love or love has blinded you.
Then theirs the whole turn of Anakin it did feel rushed but when you only have just over 2 hours to fit in can almost get away with it.
Thats the only 2 negatives now to the positives.
The action is just brilliant its action from the word get go.
The space battle is probably the best one since return of the jedi.
The last hour an 20 minutes is perfect theirs no way to get away with it.
Special mention to Ian Mcdiarmid as Palpatine this is his film his hold of Anakin slowly turning him is just perfect.
The battle between Anakin and Obi one is so emotinal knowing eventually obi ones fate.
I cant say enough good things about this film.
Home Sweet Home Alone (2021)
Better than 4
Home alone 1 and 2 easly the best. Number 3 came along awful 4 comes out of nowhere dreadful then theirs 5 which I just didn't get.
Now we have this one when I saw the trailer I had no hope for this film and to be honest I'm almost right.
It's not great but it's not as bad as I thought.
If anything it's okay theirs some funny gags.
Some light hearted moments. But unfortunately the one that ruins the movie is the main star max. I dont blame him as much as he's only a child. Blame the director theirs just no charm and can be very annoying. Theirs nothing that stands out in this film. But I guess it's worth watching once.
The Spaceman and King Arthur (1979)
Good film terrible special effects.
The story is actually pretty clever a man going back in time to the year of Arthur. Then having his spaceman with him. But sadly its really hard to ignore the awful special effects. You can clearly see the wires. The ship looks like a cardboard cutout. Would have been nice if they made a bit more of an effort.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Wow what a mess
SPOILERS AHEAD
Just came back from the midnight premiere of star wars episode 9.
To be perfectly honest I dunno wherever to laugh or cry it was so bad.
It was a train reck right from the start
When you read the opening crawl you know theirs a problem the fact they mention palpatine is litterly back from the dead without and explanation of how he survived. The film is litterly all over the place.
Then theirs the twist when they mentioned the twist i just thought thatsbdisney for u. Palpatine is Rey's grandad thats right people the most evil man in the universe is the grandfather of Rey without any explanation how that was even possible. Then theirs the famous jesus moment the most weakest villain in all the star wars films gets mortally wounded then rey basically brings him back to life that's right people.
Honestly theirs so much bad stuff in this film.
George lucas got a lot of stick for the prequels but the one thing to give him credit for he new where the story was going who was going to ultimately suffer. Disney dont have a clue where to take the star wars story. My advise to them in terms of star wars movie just leave it alone.
Damn what a train reck.

Lassie Come Home (1943)
If only man was this loyal
This was one off the first films I ever saw as a child and even today at 31 I still have much love for this film. The ending even now gets me really emotional. I know its only a film but Dogs are really loyal even in real life. Its a shame Man ain't as loyal. A brilliant film where everyone should love.
