This movie is a 5/10 and an 8/10 at the same time. Some of the things don't make sense, but at the same time it's clever. It's original and smart, but dumb and tropey at the same time.

The killer gets his butt kicked all throughout the movie and honestly you could play part of Scary Movie and Scream back to back and you would not be able to tell which scene came from which movie.

I thought from the beginning that the boyfriend was the killer but then when he gets arrested and she gets a phone call from the killer that did throw me but the boyfriend continues to be suspicious the entire time.

The beginning of the movie is strange too, having drew barrymore be in the movie just to kill her off at the beginning was definitely a big expectation subversion. The star lady in this movie is one of the prettiest women I've ever seen before I will say that.

I'm not a very good writer. But I like writing these.

The problem is you're an hour and a half into the movie and you still don't know what's going on.

This movie is super forgettable. I'd watched it before a year or to ago and I could not remember anything that happened in the movie.

Now, I'm pretty forgetful but i can usually remember some basic plot points in a movie.

Some good actors and good car chases. But the mystery is "what's in the case?" You never find out what's in the case.

I don't know if the plot is over convoluted or if there isn't enough of one but it's not a very good movie.

I recently watched a Youtube video where Quentin Tarantino said Blowout would be one of his 3 desert island movies.

Eh, it wouldn't be my pick. It's alright. I really like the concept but the sound that solves a murder plot is solved really early on. Nancy Allen's bimbo voice is very annoying. She's not written very well at all. I'm by no means a feminist but her character is so dumb she would fit right into Idiocracy and no one would think she was a genius.

It wasn't very suspenseful either. John Travolta's idea to have her micced up seemed rather flawed and boy was it!

Here's the truth they don't want you to know. Edgar Wright hasn't made a good show since S P A C E D. But what about Shaun of the Dead? It's a meh movie. This one isn't as bad as Baby Diver but it's still lame. His style is cool, but the stories are always so lame.

This movie makes sex work out to be pretty terrible. But then wait, she's killing all her former clients. So she's the bad guy? Well, they took her dream aways. So it's ok if she kills them. The twist was good. Not taking away from that. But the fact the main character is like, "I understand why you did it," sends some weird mixed messages.
