No Time to Die (2021)
No more Bond!
Well I give it 7/10 even though the franchise is ruined. A lot of decent action and a good mix of drama, tension and humor. But this one is like Skyfall and Spectre or Mehctre as someone described it. Good good but not as great as Casino Royal. Quantum is almost too bad to mention.
Craig somehow overacts in his toughness. In CR he was spot on. I don't blame him I blame the director. The movie becomes somewhat boring sometimes.
Since they killed Bond there is no need to make another. I don't want alternative storylines, or another Bond universe, like marvel.
So I rather prefer they don't make anymore Bond movies. They could go on with him being dead.
Time to make movies about the other double 0's!
Jeff Garlin: Our Man in Chicago (2019)
Actually pretty funny
Some slow parts but overall an hour that went really fast. I watched it with a smile on my face almost all through the show. The first minutes I thought I wasn't going to like it but when he starts talking about old stand up gigs the show gets hilarious.
Well done Jeff!
Den som dræber (2011)
So far pretty good
This TV show is far better than Swedish Beck and the millennium movies. First of all I have come to love the danish language. When they speak it sounds so natural and not like in the Swedish where all are going on like they were in a play at Dramaten. I have seen 4 episodes so far and I have found them to be both suspense and with pretty good stories. All and all"Mordkommissionen" is still the best detective show from Denmark. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the episodes because it's one of the better shows right now. I've heard that they are going to cancel the show after the first season because it has got some bad reviews and that's sad. It deserves more seasons.
Spider-Man 3 (2007)
Am I getting to old for this?
At first I was really looking forward to watching it but when the Swedish critics gave their review I wasn't as hopeful as before.
When I finally sat there and the movie began and the first action sequence started I thought to myself, my god what a bad CGI. It was actually hard to see what was going on because of the poor animation. It looked like some poor video game or something. This was the first time I thought that I'm getting to old for this s#%t. The two first ones had better CGI but now it was worse than when Hulk was jumping in his movie. The story was OK but the bad CGI ruined it for me so I can't give it more than a 4 out of 10.
The Tailor of Panama (2001)
The best Brosnan has ever done
I saw this movie in Paris and my god was I glad I saw that one! Not ever did I think that Brosnan could act that good and be so funny in the way he handled his one liners. Rush is even better but we knew that before but here he is outstanding as usual as a lying-moneyneeding tailor.
The Big Lebowski (1998)
one of the funniest movies ever
This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen and i never get bored of watching it again and again. The great acting between the three main characters, Goodman, Bridges and Buscemi,is 100% pure fun to watch. Even if Buscemi does not say that much he gives his part a memorable performance. All the other actors who have small parts are hilarious. Take Turturro for example who plays a latino bowling player named Jesus with such perfect acting so I can´t help laughing. So if you´re looking for a very twisted and well played comedy this is the one to see. This picture will make you feel really good.Don´t miss the burial scene.
X2 (2003)
Not as good as the first one
I have just seen xmen2 and I must say that I´m not as impressed on this movie as I was on the first one. Maybe it is because I don´t like to watch actors standing still and stare as they use their powers. But apart from that the acting was good overall and I enjoyed the guy playing Pyro. He could be the next bad guy in movies to come. The story was left behind the special effects which is sad. Special effects should never come in first hand of a film.I rate it 5 out of 10.
Suspicious Agenda (1995)
dark and dirty
a dark and dirty action thriller just the way I like it. Richard Grieco´s part as the cop on the downhill road is excellent and Nick Mancuso as the bad guy make this picture a feast for my eyes.I know this is a B-movie but sometimes the acting and story can be very good indeed. And to kill bad guys with melted led is just making the film even better.
