Killing off Maria was the beginning of the end for me. I was so glad to see her in there and then boom, dead. She was an important Marvel character for me and I'm really bummed that she was killed in such a quick way. After that the series just didn't catch my attention at all. It was so boring. The characters are just very much meaningless to me even though the actors are good. Emotional outbursts or monologues feel like they are from a theatre play. I'm disappointed. I've watched every episode, just to be clear, because people tend to review after one episode. The last episode felt rushed. The "battle" was weak.

What a waste of time

I really looked forward to this show as I love the Haunting of Hill House and Bly Manor but this was so extremely disappointing. There were so many monologues that there weren't many real conversations. I sat through all the episodes in one setting even though I hated every single one. But I always had some kind of hope that it would get better. Nope, not a chance, only getting worse. The actors did the best with what was handed to them. I didn't like the script, I didn't like the music. There were some nice images but that's it. This could have been a movie, a bad one still, but since 3/4 of these 7+ hours were not well written monologues, they could have been shortened or cut. The jump scares were really foreseeable in my opinion, I wasn't scared one bit in comparison to Hill House for example.

It's very well done. Not every episode might be of one's liking as it is the case with most shows like these with different characters and storylines in each episode. In such a short time I already cared for a lot of the characters.
