Out of Office (2022 TV Movie)

MAke it a tv series
13 September 2022
I had to pinch myself a few time to remember I wasn't watching the last sitcom released. It has so much potential for a tv series. Sort of the office version after covid time. It's fun, light, there so much interesting characters to explore.

The movie is about this new hiree and how she navigate her life both personal and with a new team. She is a solid main character

I spent a really good 1h40 and I don't understand the haters. I've started appreciating things for what they are and not what I wished. So for a low budget movie I found it really good and entertaining. No big actors here, but potential. They all played really well and I can't wait to see them all in other venture.

back to your teenage years
1 May 2020
I wasn't sure what to expect from it but I loved it. There is some kind of simplicity in this show that I loved and fell really realistic. Maybe it's because I have some bittersweet feeling about my teenage years and like them grew up on a coastal town. I also love that there is so much room for future seasons to come. The music, the actor and the direction was great. Don't listen to those cold heart bad reviews. And oh please, do take in consideration where it comes from. It's an Italian show, not an American one.

promising lead but weak scenario
19 November 2016
So I guess it didn't help that with a cast like this my expectations where quite high. However I felt like there was a lot of cliché a lot of historical approximation about the second world war, the film crisis pre WWII that it felt a bit overdone, as if they didn't wanted to talk about it but did it.. to cover the all thing.. And that's kind of the issue here, I feel like the film was a bit all over the place like a person suffering from ADHD. Too many topics, issue, character... not enough development. The acting was great, the scenario was close to it too but something was off...something seemed too fake..like this scene where they go out celebrating the first snow of the winter " overdone and clearly..it was some feather and not snow(right??). Or maybe I didn't like it cause all the characters were lost or not found yet ( lily) and that situation seems not appealing to me... Give it a look and let me know about your experience.

Academic movie

I just saw that movie at Tiff bell box , it was on the Canada top ten list of this year. This is the first movie of Deborah Show.Pretty amazing cast. The title contrary of what some people thought is really boring it says everything: you are going to see a drama, you are going to experience what life is dealing with.

The story makes us remember of 21 grams without a so specific direction. I would say, its a good movie but nothing in ordinary about it even though the main idea was unique ( I personally never heard about it ), it seems that Deborah didn't show anything specific about her way to direct, but she's maybe too young for that..

Lots of cliché , the direction don't give us any chance to be surprise, in contrary it's pretty sad how much everything we expect to happen, happens.. I was pretty disappointed about some scene which were too neutral, without any emotion contrary of what we could expected.
