I am trying to figure out what kind of martial arts movies people who reviewed this film have been watching. Someone dared to compare this to the Shaw Brothers films? I didn't mind the story line, I didn't really mind the acting, because let's face it we don't watch martial arts movies for the acting. I am a big Grillo and Jaa fan. I don't like Cage, but I think this role suited him. It is all about the action! The action was way too slow, let's face it I could have done some of the moves and I am a fat grandma. Why did they keep stopping in the middle of fights? Why did they waste so much talent to make a boring movie? Also olive trees and Buddhist temples...who'd a thunk? Mr Yune you are sexy af....you were worth my suffering.

I just watched this so I knew it got mixed reviews. I have always loved Wonder Woman so I gave it a go. I don't mind watching a movie for 2 and a half hours if it is time well spent. I felt this was not the case here. I would have liked to see more build up, more of Diana as Diana. More of the Barbara before the "main action" I think more backstory would have helped the film make more sense. I didnt' mind the concept of the film, but. The execution of the film was something else entirely. After watching this movie I will add Kristen Wiig to my list of "people who should not be famous because they have no talent" she really deserves to be on there twice. Jury is still out on Gad Gadot and Pablo Pascal... With so much money they should have been able to make a great movie...I guess it goes to show that money can't buy everything... Also I gave it a 5 because as I said I love Wonder Woman and it wasn't 100% terrible...I hope DC gets their act together and makes a good film some day...I could have probably done a better job directing and/or writing and I would have come much cheaper...lol In closing my favorite part of the movie came after the credits, so it was worth watching to the end just for that!!

When I was a little girl of about 12 I recorded this movie on video cassette while watching it...I watched the tape until it broke...I should mention that my family and I were living in Italy at the time. I didn't actually hear this movie in English until I was in my early 20s. The actors are amazing, the music is awesome, the writing is witty and the story flows perfectly. I have to admit the jokes sound better in English than Italian lol. I would like to mention that I do not consider this a remake of the Seven Samurai, but an homage to that wonderful, equally perfect film. I do believe that one should watch both films, but not fall into the trap of comparing the two while watching.

In closing I hope that people keep loving this movie. I have raised my kids on subtitles, and old movies...this is a film that deserves to live forever as it will do in my heart..every time I hear the music it's like I am that little girl again who loved Yul and Steve and had no idea what the movie was going to be, but is sure glad she recorded it!

I was a perfect movie to watch on a rainy afternoon. I see that many of the reviews are negative but it wasn't that bad. Having seen the original about 40 years ago, I really don't remember it, so I watched this for the enjoyment, not to compare the two. I thought it was a decent movie and liked how the story flowed. Yes, the CGI wasn't top notch, but that is to be expected in a b movie. When I watch a movie like this I try to pick who's going to die first, and I was wrong...so that tells me the movie wasn't as predictable as I thought it would be. If you don't take the movie too seriously you might enjoy it!

Nessie really didn't have anything to do with the movie, it was kind of like two movies in one, to be honest. I thought the guy who played Larry did a decent job acting as did some of the kids. It's odd that someone wrote a review complaining that America stole the Loch Ness monster when in the film it mentions the Loch Ness monster as a different animal. Part of the fun for me watching this was trying to figure out why I was still watching it and hoping that at some point the story line would all come together...neither of those things happened. I have loved movies my entire life, half a century now, and some times you just need to watch a ridiculous movie when you have had a bad day. Also, never trust a review! Lol.

I wanted to start by mentioning that another reviewer gave inaccurate info on what happened to the Mary Celeste. She was not run aground by her captain (if she was where did the captain and his family go?), as she was found floating by another vessel and taken to Gibralter. People are still trying to figure out what happened to those on board. There was definitely a good story to be told about researching this ship. I didn't feel like this movie accomplished that. I don't think this film qualified as a horror movie, and it seemed like the writer didn't quite know what they wanted to say...I was pleasantly surprised to see Richard Roundtree and I thought he did a good job. SInce Amara starred in this film it's too bad the Winchesters weren't investigating because they would have done a much better job and the movie would have been more interesting lol.

I watched this film after reading some of the reviews. I agree that some of the acting was not the best, but most of it was decent. The lead actors def did a great job and I would watch them in films again. I felt that Tara really was believable as a tough ass woman unlike other females I have seen in ths type of movie. I wish she had been given a chance to kick more ass. Admittedly, the story had holes...for example the rest of the story didn't really explain the sneaky stuff that happened in the beginning..most dumb people I know are not that crafty. I kind of knew what to expect when I started watching this and I liked it....won't win any Oscars but I am going to keep my out for. Zara Phylian's next film.
