Nothing Left (2012)

hilarious!
30 September 2022
I think this is called a B-movie. The quality is not perfect but that's why I like these to be movies because they contain unknown actors and have low production. It doesn't seem so very predictable so far. But there are gyms here in there such as:

" if I can light a crack pipe I can light a fire"

LoL I can't wait to see how it ends. There are a lot of characters and somehow they're going to enter twine on this campground. Then there's some thing awaiting them and conflict ensues. Takes a lot of patience to get through it but I believe it will be worth it. Having fun with it so far. Enjoy the movie!

Like a gorgeous, empty-headed first date

The cinematography is amazing. The plot summary draws you in. Then I break my 10-minute rule, despite being bored to tears.

There are so many drama points which appear to be very essential; however there is no follow up. The scary part is not remotely interesting.

Like I said: the cinematography is amazing.

The Assignment (I) (2016)

A head scratcher and an action and a comedy.

Great cast! I very much enjoyed it. The trouble with watching movies online is that you can see that there is further conflict coming up to fill the remaining number of minutes you can see on the toolbar. Maybe reviews are so poor because it's a bit predictable, or because I'm near-sighted and missed some of the aforementioned flaws by another reviewer. A fun journey; not too preachy, but still a good look at society. 10/10 stars

Unexpected Gold. It took me awhile to wrap my mind around this film. I was pleasantly surprised by all the hilarious moments, as I don't find many movies to be cleverly funny. 10/10 stars! I suggest you go in without reading any spoilers, that makes it more fun.

Interesting, new take on an old idea...

It's not a blockbuster, however it's enjoyable. Great to see Louis Mandylor aging so gracefully. Not to give anything away, but his buddy insights are unique when inspiring Eddie to embrace the situation. Not the same old conflicts. 8/10

If you work in a corporate environment you will appreciate this very much. I assume the folks who rated low didn't appreciate all the overused office jargon & other Easter eggs. Keep an open mind.

Also... I love how they imply the deed

Candles rocking, headboards knocking, paintings swinging, photos & Knick knacks falling off of shelves... that's my favorite part of the show! These cautionary tales bring a new meaning to safe sex. We just keep it in the bedroom.

Glass half full: Good to watch during chores

I noticed some of the reviews here addressed to repetitive nature of the flashbacks in the episodes. However if you get up to grab a beer or go potty or wash a couple dishes you won't miss a thing!

The format is easy to follow at the stories are very entertaining! They make you grateful for whatever relationship you have or had because it wasn't as Crazy as what's going on here. 10/10 stars. I'm hooked & will be bummed when this binge watch ends 😢

Sticking it out...
26 May 2019
There are lots of inconsistencies in the timeline, script & plot. The conflicts are boring, unprovoked & again, inconsistent. The family connections are confusing! I wish I weren't too stubborn to turn this off. 3/10 stars

Lovesick (I) (2014)

Crazy quirky fun!
8 February 2015
Movie goers don't often have the opportunity to analyze and experience what being in love is truly like; the entertainment industry folks create this grand, pretty picture however, being in love is actually a torturous process! LOVESICK is an accurate and funny journey. We actually can relate to the lunacy of wanting someone so badly that we appear manic. I'm rather disappointed that fans have so implement a lengthy search for quality programming. I hope to see more of this. Especially enjoyable were character actors, travel imagery and over the top dialogue. Additionally there were the random cuts which added to the fun. And also (don't start a sentence with "and"), musical score is marvelous. Thank you Lovesick, I will watch again. I hope to find the DVD on Amazon. YES, I'm still watching DVDs.

Born Bad (2011 Video)

Trainwreck!
14 January 2012
"Born Bad" very apt name for this foul piece of work. However, I'm bumping UP my rating to a generous 3 out of 10 stars, due to the fact that I can't turn away from it! Somehow, the rice-paper thin plot, acting skills that don't even rival the likes of adult film stars, and a leading man who is far from credible are not enough to send me running for the remote and stop this madness from polluting my living room. Fortunately, trailers were included for other films generated from the same studio; arming the consumer with information needed to avoid the rest of their work like the Plague (the theme of another Asylum film, of course). Perhaps I'm actually enjoying how bad Born Bad is; after all I only paid $1 for it at Redbox, and you get what you pay for. See you again soon Born Bad, in Wal*mart's $5 DVD bin.
