Backcountry (2014)
Backcountry A.K.A Dodging a Bullet
Jenn should be thankful for what she learned on the trip out to the ol' woods. The marriage would have been a disaster.
The bear did her a favor by taking Alex out. I've never seen two people who knew so little about each other go away on a remote adventure together. Jenn's true feelings came out about Alex when she lashed out at him right before he revealed he was going to propose on the trip. They showed they never really communicated with each other which was exhibited by her preferring to engage on the phone than with him or she knew so little about Alex that she had no idea how inviting a stranger into their camp might make him feel.
As far as I'm concerned, in the end, Jenn got everything she wanted even though she had to go through hell to get it or get away from it. She survived, found her way back to civilization only to be met by the exciting, mysterious, dangerous Irish camper. It was a nice touch to show her reach out with the hand, engagement ring on finger and all, towards him. The person she wanted all along.
Fubar II (2010)
Underrated movie
Officially one of the best Christmas movies of all time.
