Senden Bana Kalan (2015)
Turkish replica of a Korean movie
It is the Turkish remake of the Korean movie "A Millionnaire's First Love" that was made in 2016. Decent acting but but nothing was added to the original Korean movie, which is sad because they might have added a couple of more interesting parts related to the Turkish culture. Neslihan never fails to amaze me with her talent and ability to connect to her audience. However, the male lead wasn't as appealing or it might just be me being unfair because I had the Korean male lead to compare him to. I couldn't feel the chemistry between these two especially when you compare this chemistry to the one Neslihan shared with her lead partners in both Faith Harbiye and Kara Sevda.
All in all, it is an entertaining movie, especially if you haven't seen the a Korean version first!
Medcezir (2013)
Amazing cast!
The Turkish O.C. But with waaaaay better leads and even better supporting actors.
It starts the same, boy from the wrong side of the tracks meets rich girl and try to overcome the social obstacles to be together. However, the amazing chemistry between the leads and the outstanding performances of the supporting actors and their side stories make this series addictive!!
Moreover, if you have watched Adını Feriha Koydum you will notice how much the acting of Çağatay Ulusoy has improved Internet Medcezir. Serenay was so believable and the cutest thing Ever was the relationship between meet and Mert and Eylül and the rest of the characters. Each had a great impact on the story.
Delibal (2015)
An amazing movie that I could totally relate to!
The only thing I can say about the movie is that if you are not bipolar yourself or know someone who is bipolar you will find it hard to relate and might actually give it a bad rating for considering it to be a compilation of over the top scenes.
Well it's not and believe me when I say this for it is coming from someone who had her fair share of medications to control her mood swings and being extremely hyper and driven one minute to contemplating suicide the other. Lithium and other anti-depressants numb you and while they might help you contain your hyperactivity, exaggerated excitement, and in some cases manic episodes, you won't be able to react properly to the events surrounding you. It is like you are watching a movie to which you might relate in your head but would never act on it.
Delibal relays this message in an amazing, fun, and very emotional way. Some scenes were over the top (the proposal for instance) but all in all it hit the nail on its head.
Amazing main actors, great chemistry, such raw talent, the supporting actors were more than perfect.
I just loved it!!
