Shaitaan (2024)
Great star-cast in a horrible movie
I have no idea why my favorite actors Jo and Maddy have agreed to act in this illogical, hopeless, psycho thriller movie. Ajay of course would have acted because this is his home production. Still, these veteran actors could have chosen a better story.
I would have stopped watching this movie right after the first 15 minutes if not for my wife who forced me to watch till the end because she was too scared to watch it all by herself.
The logical flaws in this movie are enormous and it would be a waste of time even list them here. Please save your sanity and don't watch this movie even if you are bored to death and don't have anything else to do.
Maa Ka Doodh (2023)
Milk is liquid meat
This is an eye opening documentary that needs to be played in schools and other public places to raise awareness about the milk-meat-leather-pharma complex. As a practicing vegan, I could not see some of the gory scenes in the documentary, but that is the reality of the matter and turning a blind eye to this issue will only make it worse. More people need to watch this documentary and raise awareness for this cause. This documentary focuses especially on the Indian context and that way, Indians watching this movie can't just deny reality by saying that all these inhumane things don't happen in India.
Slay (2022)
All the gory truth about leather, fur and animal testing
This is a documentary that has come out right in time when everyone is talking about the role of animals in our lives, for food, fashion and what not. Disclaimer: There are some graphic videos showing how fur animals are tortured, electrocuted and killed. Same with leather and other things in fashion. Most people are comfortably unaware of the goings on in the fashion industry where animals are unnecessarily tortured when there are non-animal alternatives that are a lot more sustainable. Everyone should definitely watch this documentary as it affects one and all.
It is high time we leave animals out of our plates, clothes and cosmetics and this documentary definitely provides the impetus to do just that.
Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken! (2017)
Very well done documentary
100% honest truth about how chickens are raised in factory farms and how fast food restaurants create a health halo around their not-so-healthy products. The hope here is for the viewers to get the subtle message.
Breaking Boundaries: The Science of Our Planet (2021)
Misleading documentary
The documentary very cleverly focuses only on fossil fuels and doesn't even broach the matter of animal agriculture which is in fact THE largest contributor of climate change.
Jagame Thandhiram (2021)
Very illogical movie
People keep killing each other left and right throughout the movie and not even a single cop anywhere to even investigate, that too in London. Very illogical.
