Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990)
not the same
This series, although having very interesting plots, was mostly not scary stories but a mix of fantasy-sci fi-and thriller. Now the shows are great if you feel like watching something but they aren't "scary" really. If you want a show just to enjoy watch this. If you want scary stories watch the 1992 version.
Space Cases (1996)
Quaint Recollections
I vaguely remember watching this show when I was 6 or 7 and it was pretty entertaining. I didn't really notice the shows passing as I had just switched to Star Trek. All I remember were the last 8 notes and 8 seconds of video of the theme. Dan Tamberelli hitting himself with something. Something about brainwashing, thelma's brain was a marble, and the adult woman saying she had glow-in-the-dark bread. All and all not the best memories, but still quaint ones. I only realized because i was having a discussion about series that pass out of people's memories and only resurface with work.
The Immortal (2000)
Potential never met
This struck me as a show that was good at first than I started watching. The plot outline was compelling but the individual stories let much to be desired. I like most urban fantasy but this is really 5/10 and could have been -with descent writers- an 8/10.
Finding Nemo (2003)
A very funny movie
Rarely have I actually laughed out loud in a movie theater 6 times. Probably the best comedy since, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The jokes were good for both adults and kids. The second best thing may be that the plot was not just a pretense it actually was nice.
