Premonition (2007)
What a let down
I was really excited to see this movie and waited since the first time I saw the trailer. Unfortunately, I was let down. I left the theater feeling disappointed and annoyed with the ending. I still like the idea of the movie, but there is no point in knowing the future if you can't change it. I found the movie to be too much like a Greek tragedy where the victim causes the future by knowing it, and the predictability of that was not entertaining. This is a movie where you can see the end from the beginning, but you spend the entire movie hoping that there is some way to change what is to come only to have your hopes squashed. I don't even know how else to describe it except disappointing. As others have pointed out, there were some inconsistencies in the plot, but they could have been explained by Linda changing the future by knowing what is going to happen before it does, except that it only happens when it is convenient for the director (as in the daughter who is fine the first day - Thursday, when we later see that she ran through a glass door on Tuesday). But, despite that, I enjoyed the movie until the end, and I guess a lot of people feel that way. I wouldn't recommend watching this movie unless you have nothing better to do and it is free.
Puff and the Incredible Mr. Nobody (1982)
Teaching children
In my opinion, this is what children's shows should be all about. Not only is this show entertaining (I loved it as a child), but it teaches a great message about trusting in yourself and not worrying about what others think or say. In the process, children are also taught that an imagination is a great gift that can be used to brighten the world. I would highly recommend this as a great show if you want your children to learn something from the TV. As a side note, if you are looking to purchase this show, it is found on the same DVD as Puff the Magic Dragon (under that name), as well as Puff in the Land of the Living Lies.
Ernest's Greatest Hits Volume 2 (1992)
Good if your an Ernest fan
I don't know about you, but I grew up watching Ernest, and I absolutely loved watching him. Some of these commercials are funny, and others are just normal, but it's great to see a little more Ernest. Some of Jim Varney's Ernest commercials are on the dvds of his movies, so if you want to check them out, you can check them out there.
