Double Team (1997)
Time has not been kind.
All I can say is wow. Saw this in the cinema in 1997 and thought it was brilliant. Watched it again in 2022 and wanted to grab a knife from the kitchen draw and just end it. This is horrible. This has not held up as time has passed. I know these sorts of action movies from the nineties were over the top, but this was excruciatingly painful. Mickey Rourke seemed like the only actor in this that felt like he needed to put in the effort. The whole storyline of the colony made no f$%king sense. Why? Why? No I'm thinking about it, why grab a knife, I should just look for some rope and tie it around the banister and then wrap it around my neck. Thankyou to the crew, actors, writers and director, you just drove a person to end their life with this so called movie.
Baskets (2016)
What did I just watch?
Christine Baskets is the single greatest character to ever embrace our television sets. I am astounded at how good this television show is. The writing, the acting, the emotion that is played out in each single episode from this one character. It is such a believable character. How can you fault anything? And if you can fault anything, maybe you should stick to your reboots and remakes. Even Penelope, who you think is a terrible person for what she does to Chip. She would usually be the villian that you would hate, but she is so well written, that you can feel her own pain. My only suggestion is please watch this show and live on the memory of Louie Anderson.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Poor Rage Against the Machine
Do not watch this film. Absolutely horrible. I would rather watch all 30 of The Fast and The Furious movies on one continuous loop. The humans involved in making this film should be ashamed of themselves. And what's with the Rage Against the Machine cover in the end credits. Just horrible. I can't believe I stayed and watched the entire film and then to have my ears destroyed by that ridiculous cover. Stupid me.
Underwater (2020)
It's a good film
Most of the low user reviews are the same people who rate the 30 Fast and the Furious films high. Stop comparing it to Alien aswell. Its not Alien. Not even the same concept. Absolute blind imbociles.
Jason X (2001)
God, please take my eyes.
If people in the future are still this stupid, kill me now.
The Adventures of Lano & Woodley (1997)
Still funny 24 years later.
This is pure genius. For a show to still be funny 24 years later, they are doing something right. These guys are my heroes. When I first met my wife, we stayed in a hotel in Melbourne city. We were swimming in the hotel pool and I turned around to see Colin swimming behind me with his child. My wife told me told talk to him. I panicked and said what if he is rude cause I disturbed him playing with his child. She agreed that, that would break my heart and we moved on. As we were exiting the pool via the ladder, my wife got out first in a two piece bikini. I turned to look at Colin one last time and saw him watching my wife exit the pool. I was not even angry or upset, my hero was perving on my wife exiting a swimming pool in a bikini. My life is complete.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
The single greatest television series ever.
Can't even recall how many times I have watched this series from start to finish. Great acting and brilliant writing. Not one actor is better than the other. They all hold their own. Each season just gets better and better and the character development is just pure perfection.
Little Nicky (2000)
Still holds up 20 years later.
Most of the people who do not like this film are the same people that are keeping The Fast and Furious franchise alive. How fast and furious can you be after 30 films? If Adam Sandler died in a fiery Porsche crash, you'd be all bowing down to this comedy genius.
