Every movie has the potential to be good. A score of 10 or 100% is the best and most common rating scores.
Each movie I watch starts with 50 points. There are 10 different areas of criteria and I judge each on a sliding scale from +5 to -5.
Each movie can either score a max of 50 more points or lose 50 points.
Any film that scores higher than a 5 or 50% is a good movie.
This 5/10 or 50% does not correspond with Rotten Tomatoes or Educational scores: eg 50% = D-

The Mandalorian (2019)
It's a video game
When will everyone learn this is just rip off John wick action with video game plot and cut scenes between it all.
Literally nothing happens but side quests and he keeps ending up where he started.
So many useless scenes, lack lustre action and still no plot, stakes or character
It's playing it so safe with fanboys by looking good, playing with puppets and taking zero risks
The Mandalorian: Chapter 3: The Sin (2019)
Really everyone?
I never write reviews, usually I find someone else that shares my opinion and that's enough.
But how does no one else find this a little...eh.
These first three episodes have just been video game cut scenes with some John wick copying action. He finds baby Yoda then spends an episode getting his ship repaired by going on side quest after side quest.
When he finally gives up the bounty he uses his earnings to up his armour and weapons. That's video game!
He's already pretty unstoppable, let's make him shiny! Also how underwhelming was his little bird missiles. A build up to that?
The other mandalorians coming to save him wasn't earned. A Deus ex machina for sure.
So far I couldn't tell you what the plot is besides his literal missions. I don't know what the character wants, what the stakes are or why I should care.
That's beginner story writing.
I think everyone is going bananas for this show because it is safe. It's giving you the scenery, non light sabre fight scenes, CGI mixed with puppets and everything else the prequels weren't.
At least the prequels had a plot going after and hour and a half.
I reckon once some sort of twist or plot point actually comes into play you'll be seeing a lot less 10/10's.
As for right now, I'm hate watching a show that I really wanted to like
