Se upp för dårarna (2007)
Worth seeing
I would have to say I agree with martin_g_karlsson on one comment. The way the two girls try to 'catch' the bad guy definitely lowers the film. That part could have been better. I still, however, think that the film is definitely worth seeing and I think the acting is quite good. I definitely think it's funny, although you won't fall of your chair from laughing. The movie has a body and I think the characters are quite believable. I think Nina Zanjani, who plays Yasmin, stands out in her acting. The way she talks when she expresses her feelings to her dad, the way she looks at the guy before kissing him, I think she does a wonderful job. The movie touched me from time to time. There is love, friendship, forgiveness, pride. Göran Persson said the music choice annoyed him. I did not perceive the music choice as weird and actually enjoyed the music in the movie. I am a fan of Swedish movies and it is definitely not the best Swedish movie out there, but worth seeing nonetheless.
De eetclub (2010)
a dutch movie you should NOT see.
While watching this film i became curious who the producer is, because i was really wondering if he made more movies or that maybe this was his first movie (i found out that his first movie was in 1995 and that he received a price for it) It's a miracle that he found a crew with some 'big' names (for dutch standards) for a movie that is SO bad. And while i was watching the movie i was also wondering if the actors were satisfied after seeing the final result of the movie. I thought it was one of the worst movies i've seen in the last 5 years (and i watch 2 movies a week on average) It's not a thriller. It's difficult to understand. The acting is very bad from time to time and even the camera work is far from what it could have been. I didn't read the book, but when people say its a thousand times better than the movie, i would believe them, as it wouldn't be that difficult to reach such a level.
