Some stuff I've done that's memorable (I guess):
-Well, I basically coined the term for fans of both POTC and LOTR, ringrunning rumnuts. It occurred on February the 11th, 2004 during a message board party, and in my 'intoxication' on virtual rum, I rambled out that I was a ringrunning rumnut, and the name stuck. -I'm also the founder of SIPTEA. PM me for more info or to join. And for those who want to solve the mystery of SIPTEA without joining, I can tell you that in the early threads concerning it Panda was partially right (I think at the time she had 2/6, or maybe even 3/6). I will be giving some clues, so here goes...

'S' is for the way you-*stops singing* oh...wait...not that.
Basically, use common sense. Read up on the thread where I started my munderful crusade, why I started it, what it is, and then you'll basically have your answer. If you're still floundering, PM or IM me and if I'm in a good mood I'll give you some clues. Ringrunning Rumnut info:

I have a virtual weapong named Atlcod (pronounced attle-cod) which is a LOTR/POTC/SW weapon cross, and stands for Anduril, the Lightsaber Cutlass of Death. You can see a picture here (though the colors became faded in the scanner): http://www.boomspeed.com/elfinqueen/Atlcod.JPG

Reviews
Hornblower: The Even Chance (1998)
Storytelling at its best!
The first in the Horatio Hornblower series, this installment is absolutely stunning. After watching this, you will find yourself longing for more. There is enough action, drama, and humor to satisfy just about anyone.
The acting is wonderful. Ioan Gruffudd in particular in the leading role, but all the supporting actors put out great performances as well.
The costumes are flawless. That, combined with the set design and ships, make you feel as though you have gone back in time.
I would recommend this miniseries to anyone I know (And I've done much of that already).
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
This is a one-of-a-kind film that will stand the test of time.
I'm pleased with myself that I'm finally getting around to writing a comment. I'll start off with this. This movie is more than you would expect. I went into the theater hoping for plenty of Orlando Bloom screen time, thinking "It's a pirate movie, it might be interesting".
One of the biggest understatements of my life.
I left the theater with a newfound appreciation for Johnny Depp as an actor. His role and acting were superb in the film. Definitely the best performance of the year. Orlando Bloom, while his performance was not as good as Depp's, was still a great supporting actor, and has the potential to become a bigger star with his upcoming films. Kiera Knightly puts forth a strong supporting role, and does perfectly in the sole female role (not counting Anamaria's). And Geoffrey Rush is one of the best villains I have seen on screen in a long time (with the exception of Gollum). He's the character you love to hate, but feel pity for him at the same time.
This is a movie I'd recommend to anybody, and all that I have encouraged to see it thought it better than they had hoped.
