Yup it is pretty bad and its hard to figure how who is mostly at fault .. but I'm going to say the direction caused a lot of that stilted acting. We go from one scene to the next of conversation .. two people or three, standing or sitting, and giving either expositional dialogue ad infinitum, or right on the nose dialogue, which is just as boring. So, the accomplice to the murder of this film would go to the writer.

And if wouldn't it be great if actors, having been given such an awful script and such plodding direction, could at least try to find some way to work against the predictable and the stereotypical. If you can't, then try to find some charm in your character, something we'd like, or identify with.

Yes there were plot twists but who cared? Who could care less about any of these people and who could care less if the plot twisted itself into a pretzel? Seemed to me that this movie was made by someone who doesn't really have anything to say to the world other than I took a film making course.

I couldn't finish watching because it was just too depressingly like my job. Cold hearted violence devoid of meaning.

Even if the characters were a little more interesting, or even if something happened quicker, it might have been better. I love a movie where I am hanging off the edge of my seat .. I just love it. I love plot twists and the unexpected happening. But I just can't get excited about people I don't like doing things I don't like.

I couldn't believe good actors agreed to do this film. I couldn't believe anybody would finance this film. I can't believe anyone likes this film. HOly Moly I was doing my grocery list in my head and not even realizing it. When I came back to the movie, nothing had happened. THere they are sad, now sad at the funeral, now sad at the door, now sad on the lawn. Why are they sad? I don't know. They got mail?

I can't write a review less than ten lines. But I have nothing else to say about this movie. Yikes, this review is going to be just like the movie. Going on and on and never ending until hopefully there will be end and you can go. Angry that you wasted your time waiting for a point to be made.
