The Trip (2002)
The best gay film ever
It's been a while since we've had a decent gay theme film and I was starting to wonder if I'd ever see one again. This film shows a gay relationship over a 12 year period. It brought back so many memories of my past and my first love that I had chills when I left the theater. This delightful engaging love story is filled with laughs, tears, and loads of memories. It's the perfect way to spend two hours no matter who you are. This film appeals to all demographics and it's sure to
entertain all. The two leads are not only talented and sexy, but they have
incredible on-screen chemistry. Jill ST. John is quite the hoot as the supportive mom (I had a friend who had a mom just like her) and Ray Baker is just perfect as the evil predator. I LOVE THIS FILM!
AKA (2002)
TRULY BAD
When I voted my "1" for this film I noticed that 75 people voted the same out of 146 total votes. That means that half the people that voted for this film feel it's truly terrible. I saw this not long ago at a film festival and I was really unimpressed by it's poor execution. The cinematography is unwatchable, the sound is bad, the story is cut and pasted from many other movies, and the acting is dreadful. This movie is basically a poor rip-off of three other films. NO WONDER THIS WAS NEVER RELEASED IN THE USA.
X2 (2003)
Bryan Singer does it again
I have yet to see a Bryan Singer film that I don't like. The man knows we he's doing and i look forward to more movies from the talented film maker. The whole cast is back here and you know that had to be a hard thing to do. They have some great material here to work with and they all seem like they're having a great time. this is a very welcome addition to the franchise.
Star Trek: Nemesis (2002)
Bad way to end the series
This could have been so much better. Too bad it's their swan song cause there isn't going to be another one after it performed so badly at the boxoffice. I'm trying to think of something good to say here and I can't. I'll it at my rating 3/10
Star Trek: First Contact (1996)
the best of them
Finally we get one that is truly great. The best in the series has been 2, 4, 6, 7, and this one. This film reminded me a lot of the 2nd one with the old cast. Good ole Khan. The Borg Queen rocks. She was a worthy villian and I loves her witty banter.
Death Becomes Her (1992)
I love this movie
This was way fun. One of my favorite guilty pleasures. All the actors are in top form here and I loved Bruce, Goldie, and Meryl. This is truly a classic in the black comedies. The score was terrific, set design fantastic, and all around excellent.
