Amazing.

This movie is brilliant. I happen to catch it while it was playing on HBO ON Demand. The cast is amazing: Dallas Roberts (who I hope to see in much much more) Robin Wright Penn (one of the most underrated actresses of our generation) and Colin Farrell (who's, I believe, off camera life really unfairly over shines his immense talent as an artist) PLUS the insanely amazing Sissy Spacek, make this a film not to miss. NOT a movie for those who do not like dialogue driven films with quirky but extremely real characters.

The soundtrack for this film is another reason to watch it. Music that spans from the late 60's to the early/mid 1980's. This is a real human story. I laughed and cried during it. I was mostly blown away by Colin Farrell. His performance in this film is some of the best acting I have seen on film in a long time. This is a true love story, just not in the conventional sense of the term.

Touched by Evil (1997 TV Movie)
HORRIBLE

UGH. This is a true story, but the script was HORRIBLE. I thought Paul Abdul (who I normally think is not horrible) was embarrassing to watch. The fact that Susan Rattan who is a brilliant actress couldn't do anything with the horrible lines she was given should say something.

Right away I knew who the rapist was and it was completely unrealistic how easily she got him to leave at the end. This could have been a really great "Ripped from the headline's" type movie, but whoever wrote this should never be allowed to hold pen, pencil or be allowed near any writing implement EVER AGAIN.

BLAH BAD BAD BAD

If you aren't an actor, you won't appreciate this film fully.

This film is brilliant and it accurately portrays the lives of many struggling NYC actors, from the fact that talented actors are passed up for models for jobs, how do you try to stay in your craft, how no one really cares about their "survival job" and how many actors don't have an off switch.

This film was brilliant, funny, heartwarming and a real gem.
