A life changing experience.

There are few movies out there that are really trying to make a change, to change your point of view, to open your eyes... How amazing it is when you sit in the movie theater, expecting to watch a normal movie, well with an amazing cast, not knowing what it is about, and you just spend 2 hours stunned, moved, shocked, amazed, laughing, having every single emotion there is in just one movie. This movie is by far one of the best movies i have ever seen, i can't even describe the quantity of feelings i had watching it, yes, it is almost 2 and a half hours long, but, i didn't want it to end.

I found myself moved, it really changed me, it has amazing performances, once aging Viola Davis had an amazing character, with an amazing story, and delivered an out of this world performance, as she always does.

Emma Stone, wow. I have no words for this girl, she is stunning in every single meaning of the word.

The rest of the cast, deliver amazing performances, every single second of this movie is absolutely well written, absolutely well directed, and absolutely well acted. It is so real.

This is a movie, with a really original point of view, i have never ever seen a movie like this. It is a movie about love, about fighting for who you are, about defending your believes.

I recommend this movie for EVERYBODY. This is a really true masterpiece, and i really believe everybody should see this, see that the "perfect world" we live in, was or, is, not perfect at all. Watch it.

Limitless (I) (2011)

Entertaining, but.... where's the point?

I liked this movie in the concept, and that Robert De Niro is in it, but, i really was expecting something more, substantial, i just wished, that it wasn't the typical history, where everything turns out PERFECT for the protagonist.

Yes, like we all know there's a pill, a genius pill, there's a guy, and there's a whole 2 hour story written all around that 2 things. But, for me, there was no point, everything turns out amazing, perfect, for the main character, everything, although he makes every single bad thing possible, everything turns out amazing, like i supposed.

Yes there is action, Bradley Cooper delivers, and well he has the weight of the whole movie over his shoulders, but, he manages to give a really good and believable performance... but that's not the point for me, there are too many chasing, too many problems, and at the end, it's just like... DUH, OBVIOUSLY.

But well, some of you may like it, it's well made, a decent Sunday movie, but... i just was expecting... well... not the obvious, and that was exactly what i got.

Don't Worry, I'm Fine (2006)

Speechless.

I have no words to describe this movie, it's not the most amazing movie i've seen, but, it cracked me...

It is a simple story, beautifully acted, beautifully written.

I saw it not knowing what to expect, but i love Melanie Laurent, so i said well i'm giving this film a try, and when the movie ended... i was speechless

I is so real, it has so much emotion, there is no fancy things, no big things, no special effects, no no thing, it's just a feeling, the movie it's simply that, emotions.

The simplicity of this movie, its beauty, everything about it is perfect.

Watch it.. you won't regret it

Another Earth (2011)

Such a great story, good performances, a really good movie.

I've just finished watching this movie, i really was looking forward to see it. I am really hard criticizing movies, and i really liked this movie, yes it's not perfect, and i do feel that they could have had exploited the story so much more, the ending feels a little bit rushed, and yes it's a big ordinary movie drama, centered in a non ordinary situation.

That is for me the point of making this movie remarkable, the story itself is great, but it did not fulfilled me, i ended up wanting more.

The performances are pretty solid, believable. All around this is a really good movie, it's solid, and has interesting twists. I recommend it for everyone that loves a different movie.

Give it a try:)

The Beaver (2011)

I have to start this review by saying i saw this movie just because i didn't have anything better to watch...

But from the very beginning, from the FIRST second, it got me. This movie is about love, it's about family, it's a very intelligent drama, i have no idea if this is the first movie Jodie Foster directs, but i have to say DAMN, it is amazingly directed.

The performances are amazing, for me Jodie Foster is an amazing actress, but in this particular roll she nailed every single line, every single emotion, she delivers amazingly, she broke my heart, the rawness in her character, the depth of everything she went to, her eyes, her moves, everything for me was perfect.

Mel Gibson gives an amazing performance too, he is of course the main character, this movie is of course about him, about a man struggling from a very deep depression that finds cure with a "beaver". His performance is amazing, for me it was not only because of the emotion he puts in the character, but thanks to the idea that this is a REALLY difficult roll, and i really think that not many actors can deliver such a strange part, such a difficult roll that can easily be really bad played and can become in a second such a goofy character, and a stupid idea. But he manages to make everything really believable.

In this movie there are other stories, there is Jennifer Lawrence story, Mel Gibson's sons, and of course Jodie Foster's, but i have to say all of them perfectly fit with the story, making it reacher, and making it better.

I really recommend this movie, i saw it expecting nothing, and i found myself crying at the end.

See it. 9/10.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)

FIRST OF ALL THIS IS A MOVIE RATED 13+ ,SO.... (no lots of blood, no nudity, no corpses)

OK, i have read lots of reviews made by movie fans, but i wanted to make a review made to all of you that are seeking for "the changes" if it "sticks" to the book and all that stuff....

Let me start by saying this is an AWESOME movie, full of action, you will certainly cry in a moment, or you will always be crying... amazed, and all that stuff, but... YES, it is full with CHANGES from the book, but really they are all perfectly made, they put a little more here, a little more there, they cut some parts that for us the "fans" are important, but hey this is a MOVIE, if you want the real deal read the book.

So said that, i have to say, that all the fights are amazing, the acting is REALLY REALLY so upgraded, from everybody.

There are gorgeous visuals, and the 3D really complements all the spells, and all that stuff, in the Hogwarts battle scene, it looks like a video game, like i don't know it looks so good, awesome, you WILL be stunned,but...

if you are looking for the BOOK, if you are looking for THAT for the real thing, you will be disappointed,Voldemort's dead scene is bad. REALLY bad. That is all i will say.

What i have to recognize is that, they really gave Snape all the emotion he needed, i have to admit i cried like a starving baby during most of his scenes, it is perfectly written, his part, all of it, ALL.

There are no scenes with "ron, Hermione" fighting, i really wished there where, not just running from side to side.

The love between Ron, Hermione is perfect, they added more emotion to their kiss is BETTER than in the book, the scene is written just for THAT kiss and it's totally worth it, but Ginny's and Harry's kiss is awful, i feel like they never gave them a try to have their love moment, it always feels so rushed, with no chemistry at all.

This movie has so many little details, that make you remember all the past ones, and they are so perfect, so well made, from the songs, the music, to little things that you will say: oh!!, remember that?. I really appreciate that.

I will finish this by SAYING, thank you, Harry Potter, thank you JK Rowling, your books are, your world, you made me believe in it. But THANKS GOD the movies are over, THANKS GOD for real.

It's certainly the best, it cannot be compared of course, this is all action.

But hey, give it a try, you WON'T , and i mean it you won't have a bad time watching it, it's pleasantly enjoyable.

Little White Lies (2010)

So, incredibly real. GREAT acting.

Look, if you are looking for an incredibly funny movie, or an incredible drama!... don't watch this, you have to see this one expecting nothing from it, and i really think you will be pleasantly surprised with it, it's a solid story, really well written, i honestly in one moment got lost in it i thought i was watching like a documental or whatever, it seemed so real, the things that happen in the movie are so real, all the story, it's a movie about redemption, with a real message, the kind of message like "there are more important things in life than money" and all that stuff, it's really good.

I have to be honest, i only watched this movie because Marion Cotillard was in it , and she is one of my favorite actresses, so, i saw it expecting nothing and i really liked it.

Give it a try, its a story about family, love, it's sad... it makes you laugh, it's really REALLY good.

Remarkable Performances, with a solid story, with a nicely written twist.

Carey Mulligan's Performance is, PERFECT, just due to her acting i can watch this movie lots of times.

I really have to take my time to describe her performance, is so fragile, so, beliavable, so good.

And the movie itself is not good, a good romance between a teenager and a grown man, it has a nice message, and it's perfectly written.

This movie, for me is short, i really wanted more!, i didn't wanted it to end, the end is not as good as i wanted, it's the only "predictable" thing in the movie, i wished something more would have happened.

But in short words, for those lazy ones that are searching for just a few lines that convince them to see this movie here they are:

"This movie has a remarkable performance given by the leading actress (Carey Mulligan), and a really good supporting actors and actresses, it is a well written Love story, about a teenage girl that falls for an older man and changes her life just to see that it end out been what she was afraid of, it has a good message and it's not boring at all, not predictable, (just the ending is). But give it a try."

Waiting for Forever (2010)

Really enjoyable, good , well acted Love story.

I like love stories, but the good ones, and this one is different but in a good way, Tom Sturridge's performance is really good i've never seen this actor before, but i think he is really good actor, i believed every second of his performance, i felt simpathetic for his character.

Rachel Bilson gave a really decent acting, and i have to say she is gorgeous.

I can tell you that you will love this love story, all those love suckers, romantics, will love it i am sure.

Give it a try, it's one of those movies of "love conquers all, and true love lasts forever, and all that stuff", is refreshing, is good.

The Concert (2009)

A GREAT movie, with perfect performances, great story, and AMAZING music.

I have to say i saw this movie not expecting anything, well expecting to regret watching it... but DAMN i was so wrong.

It made me cry, it shocked me, amazed me, gave me goosebumps, it was an amazing ride.

What i loved about this movie is that, it tricks your mind, it is so well written that you think that you know what will happen, and at the very end slaps you in the face, and shows how wrong you were.

The last 15 minutes are EPIC, the performance given by Mélanie Laurent was, Jesus, AMAZING, she made me love her, she made me believe in her.

For those who think that this movie is a plain boring drama, NO. It has comedy parts, really well placed, perfectly written where you laugh.

So i really think that for anyone who loves, Music, Drama, Love, and a good script and perfect performances, this movie will be perfect.

Give it a try you will be surprised, i surely was.

It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010)

This movie, as i say in the summary, totally surprised me Zach Galifianakis' performance surprised me, for real, i am not a follower of his work, but since Hangover i love this guy but in comedy, i really never thought, he could do a solid dramatic performance, been like an important really important guy in a drama film, and in this film he is really important.

This movie is based around Keir Gilchrist, and i really liked his character, a really mentally troubled guy, that seeks for help, and i really bought his performance.

The script is really good, the story stands for itself, but the highlight for me are the performances.

Emma Roberts, i love this girl, and i DO think and i AM totally sure, that she WILL be an Oscar Winner, she gave and awesome, really awesome performance as "Noelle", this is a role, that is non known for this girl, she is unrecognizable, and i loved that.

There is the performance of Zoe Kravitz and i have to say i have to clap to her, she is a new comer, and i'm shocked that she is not like the other celebrity-related guys, that just got their roles thanks to favors, she REALLY can act. I am really waiting to see the future of this girl.

Bottom Line, i have to say to anyone that read my review, that, you all should give a try to this movie, you will be pleasantly surprised. And i am sure you will enjoy it.

The Kids Are All Right (2010)

Julianne Moore, marry me, please. GREAT movie. PERFECT acting.

I have to start by saying, that i love, love, Julianne Moore, she is one of my favorite actresses, and incredibly gorgeous, but well, you are reading this for the movie.

This is a movie about family, yes, a different kind of family, lesbians, but, a family. There is no protagonist, no supporting, no nothing for me, each and everyone that got involved in this family, from Mark Ruffalo, Mia Wasikowska, Annette Bening, to Josh Hutcherson are so , really SO important, their performances, their parts, their roles made this movie, this story, this family so real.

You all should give this movie a try, I found myself involved with the amazing performances, The fight, that part of the movie where the couple (Julianne and Annette) fight, made me tear, i felt the pain, and i am not exaggerating, it is so true, the problems that are portraited in this movie are real, everything is so believable.

I am really sure that anyone, and i mean it anyone that see this movie, will like it and will be fulfilled with it.

Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Last Night (I) (2010)

A really emotional movie, so as the acting in it.

I saw this movie, expecting really little things, i searched for it because Eva Mendez was in it, and i wanted to see the reviews, once i saw i had decent reviews i decided to watch it, and knightley was the real factor that convinced me to see it, well... i sat down and really, from the beginning of the movie i just like, fell in it, it traps you, i makes you feel the emotions, the acting is great, from all 4, i was pleasantly surprised from Eva's performance, knightley gave a great performance too and the guys well, really GOOD.

but what really made me review this is to tell you all that this is a movie that u have to, fall in it, you have to feel it. Not expecting action or whatever, it is a well written story about love, relationship, commitment and real feelings.
