Long Story Short (2021)
Same idea as Click, make good choices
A bit cheaper and less dramatic than Click but mainly the same idea. Dude gets moments from his future and notices he's not going the right way and lives a second hand life in that path. It's not terrible but it's not what's supposed to basically lacking everything important in it. Click with Adam Sandler and Beckinsale is way funnier and better , deeper and more dramatic, capturing all essence of life but this ain't a bad view either.
It's worth the time spent as we cannot get enough reminders to rise our head above the mundane and cherish what's important: family and the ones we love and moments spent with them, showing love, support, gratitude and so on.
Go for both, but if you haven't watched Click, I suggest doing so.
Evil Dead Rise (2023)
Sick and twisted and not quite smart
As I stated above , most thing about this si too far stretched.
Action and fort too far fetchhed.
They get "infected"
They need time to reboot, quite a lot, then they "function again"
If everyone gone but not quite cause it leaves some, can take over ofhers trough air
Not quite clear how some don't get "infected"
Everything sketchy
Building , earthquake, hole, etc how the vynile and pick up works
not smart actions
Really bad movie that could work on a cabin , even tho there are better horror movies out there that could work better if you wanna scare the girls
Ending is probably the best part.
Beautiful Disaster (2023)
Should be illegal to make movies this bad
But it's so bad it's actually somewhat good
Fair amount of wasted time
You've probably seen worse and has some good in it
Ridiculously bad means good sometimes
Saw this couple stared in another movie
That's rated 4.0
So someone is giving them chances after chances 🤷♂️😂
The plot ain't that bad but it's highly exaggerated and poorly played
I don't know on what streaming platforms you can see it
I randomly just saw it on Filmnow which is a romanian streamer compared to HBO, it's probably only available on Digi services and not in many countries trough out Europe
If you wanna see a fairly stupid good movie with your gf , this might do
It's difficult sometimes to watch epic movies with gf as they require focus, but this ain't one
So go for it.
BlacKkKlansman (2018)
Decent funny interesting movie
Interesting plot and way of viewing things
Kind of funny with the exaggeration and stereotyping characters
Dumb nonsense at the end with no connection whatsoever to the movie or happenings nowadays, it's sort of connection to make something out of nothing.
It's a pitty to try to make a political statement or affect politcs when movie is funny and good .
Has not much to do with todays problems and leftist manipulation of the masses or right for that matter.
It's a bit too long even though you enjoy most of it
as characters are reduced to their flaws, strengths and weaknesses
All in all, shorter with no associations would have make it better.
Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)
So bad it's kinda good
It's awful to see Keanu like that tho.
You'd expect stuff like that from James Franco but not Keanu.
It's pretty stupid but it's fun
Gave it 6 not to mess with the avarage score.
Enjoy.
Red Notice (2021)
Good actors awful movie
Script has a lot of holes
Phrases and dialogue is awful and cheesy
Remarks, connection between actors/characters, it's all bad
It's like it's been written by teenagers or something
And the connection between Gal Gadot and Dwayne!? What connection?
You'll watch it anyways, cause of the actors, even though you'll want to stop at some points (it's that bad, cheap and cheesy) but most likely won't want to see it again .
I didn't think such a bad movie can be made with such good cast.
Go with low expectations and maybe you'll find it funny.
Queen & Slim (2019)
Well played but that's about it
The movie tries to romanticize the story of questionable murder by a couple that first met on tinder. A cop acts all crazy and wounds up the woman ending up by being shot. You get to know the characters as they go across the country to flee. A movement is sent into motion and a kid, inspired by their deeds who also gets to meet them shoots and murders a cop who was just trying to do his job. It's there when you kinda lose interest but you still want to see the end.
Kinda tries to put a bad light on the force, but facts are 2 cops get ended.
Will they make it tho?
Avoiding all that would have been preferable .
The Invisible Man (2020)
Kind of terrible
A guy that seems to have it all, state of the art house, worked out physique, intelligence, decides to go extreme and somehow (fake his death, why!?) turn invisible and stalk his 5/6 troubled ex (that she claims he is abusive) to whom he also leaves multi-millions. Makes sense.
The movie doesn't make sense from beginning to the middle. Then it gets somehow brutal to keep some interest. Many things don't add up. Poor choice of actress for inclusion. Also a dosed African American helps her, we don't know the connection between many of the characters.
Might be a leftist movie.
Spoiler alert: the catchphrase "surprise" is used all along when some sort of attack occurs (he mostly leaves them alive, just hurting them)
The Wrong Boy Next Door (2019)
Awful
Play, plot, soundtrack, the creepiness is almost funny, but it's not, the way it's shot is bad too
The narrative of the moral of flipping houses could be a good subject; but they played this awful.
Valan (2019)
Kinda lame, but good plot twist
The acting is poor, some scenes are too unreal and lame, but there are also surprising ones, played decent.
The cop some skinny dude, that wouldn't have passed the academy most likely. He is driven, motivated and at times he plays his part well, at times very disappointing. The scenarios look something out of 90's, even though action takes place nowadays.
Would have given it a 5 but it deserves an extra point for the final scene, the down the road with the girl one.
Warning! Spoiler from now on.
Plot is weak as it doesn't make much sense. How an old decripit dude can lure young girls. No sense at all. His madness might make sense, but there's no way he'd be able to lure them willingly.
Not bad for an European movie though .
