One of Jackie's best in quite a while.
25 March 2019
This movie is definitely a departure from the norm for Jackie as his trademark slapstick comedy is nowhere to be seen in this film. This is a solid entry into the Police Story franchise(if you can call it a franchise).Without giving to much away Jackie has to face his inner demons in order to survive the threat of this new wave of criminals.

I am a huge Jackie fan and while a little skeptical about this movie at first I thoroughly enjoyed what I would describe as one of his best in quite a while.

Jackie like you rarely see him
5 September 2018
This for me is one of Jackie's best in a long time. This is not a typical Jackie Chan film so if you were thinking this is going to be one of his slapstick outing's then you would be sadly mistaken. Instead this is a great action drama that you see oh so sparingly from one of the greatest Kung fu exponents to ever grace the silver screen. Without giving to much away Jackie is out for revenge after his daughter is killed in a terrorist bombing by a rogue faction of the IRA. The length's he goes to in order to get the information he needs to exact revenge is what makes this movie. So if you are a fan of Jackie or just a lover of great movies then this is a must see.

Great music & dancing

While this movie is pure 80's cheese the dance sequences and the soundtrack to this film are without a doubt the best things about this. The plot line is a bit predictable and some of the acting is laughable but this movie is all about the dancing and if you were a fan of movies like dirty dancing and lambada be sure to give this one a go as you will not be disappointed with the dance sequences. The soundtrack is awesome if you like Latin music and Robby Rosa's song Under my skin is quite good so too are Margarita and Puerto Rico. Unfortunately this film could not piggy back off the success of Dirty Dancing but it is still a film that you should see if like I said earlier you are a fan of Latin music and dance films. The final 10-15 minutes is really good viewing and while my rating of 7 might be a bit generous it is simply because I am a big fan of Latin music and do like a lot of the dance orientated films no matter how cheesy they are.

The legend at his best
17 February 2014
Whilst I admire the likes of Donny Yen Jet Li and Jackie Chan there simply is no one that comes close to the charisma and presence that Bruce Lee had. There is no greater testament to that than right here in what most martial arts fans regard as one of if not the greatest martial arts film of all time. The fight scenes are very well choreographed and there is enough action to keep this movie flowing.Storyline wise there is nothing new here but considering this was made in 1973 there have been quite a few movies since that have gone down a similar path. The supporting cast are good and they compliment Bruce quite well. The last half an hour though is all about Bruce and to watch this genius at work is worth every cent.It is a shame that Bruce died so young as it would have been interesting to see just what this great artist would have had in store for us.
