Would You Rather (2012)
Very cruel ending. Not a twist at all.
"Ready or not" is far superior. This has potential, but is not scary. In fact it's more enraging. Unfortunately the villains win here and the ending is so cruel it ruins anything good about the rest of the movie. Brittany Snow is great tho, wish she'd get more work.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
My new favorite MCU Villian
This is up there with the revolutionary Spider Man 2 by Raimi with Doc OC. Mysterio steals the show. Aside from Hella or Thanos he's easily the best villain in the MCU to date. The end credits are a treat, and it's amazing what Sony and Marvel studios' intentions are regarding this next chapter.
The Order (2019)
This material deserved better.
It's a cool concept with a few good supporting characters. The leads are awful with absolutely no chemistry and the love story between them is shoved down your throat and easily the worst part of the show, which is frustrating because it takes presedence over far more interesting story lines. Then comes the college stereotypes... man is it painful. These characters were taken straight out of a 16 year old mean girl's diary. It's comedic when it shouldn't be. The directing is also shoddy at best. Characters "walk in" like they are on stage to address each other and exit after said exchange and their activities include drinking or excessive cussing just for the shock value. As I stated before the supporting characters are far more interesting. Katharine Isabelle is great fun. It's too bad the directing and writing was so juvenile because this could have been very cool. I doubt we'll see it back for a second season. Additionally, the ending twist was completely devastating and relegated the time to watch in the first place. Big mistake. Again, good material in the hands of very poor production, directing, and writing. The actors did what they could.
The Hoarder (2015)
A frustrating waste of time
Original and cool premise overshadowed by bad acting, tedious writing and an irritating and non believable villain. Let me get this out of the way; when you hate a villain in a movie, it's usually a compliment to the actor's performance. NOT IN THIS CASE. The villain is an out of shape, bumbling fool. Clumsily running around out of breath and over-powering everyone around him. At first it's a bit tolerable (albeit humorous) and you think to yourself "God I can't wait to see this guy get what's coming to him" but it never happens. The lead characters are inept, one even decides to take a break and shoot up drugs (to relax) in the midst of all the killing. It's a complete joke that wears thin and becomes boring and frustrating. I honestly can't recall ANY movie with characters as intellectually challenged as these individuals. Then there's the ending in which the stupidity of the lead actress (Mischa Barton) reaches an all time frustrating high. If you do reach the ending, please take note and REMOVE ANY THROWABLE OBJECT FROM THE ROOM as you may damage your TV. There is no resolve to the stupidity, the fat and out of shape villain smirks and lives to see another day, and just when you think you've seen the the lead character hit an all time low in I.Q., she's topped only by her awful fiancé who can't see past the thick layer of "smarm" on the bridge of his nose.
Do yourself a favor and skip this.
