God's Not Dead: We the People (2021)
Great movie about freedom
Anyone who didn't like this movie didn't WANT to like this movie. They sat down to watch it ready to ridicule the story and actors, and they were happy to knit-pick the anti-big government arguments. Those viewers are the product of the Godless indoctrination to be had in government run schools that this movie speaks against. Christian or no, there are 1000s of reasons to homeschool and this movie hit most all of them in some way. The writers covered all the hot buttons and ignorant arguments against homeschooling extremely well. The general message of freedom is eloquently delivered.
Eternals (2021)
Boring!
The characters have nothing with which we can make a connection. It's all plot exposition and tearful goodbyes that bored the pants of those of us watching. The bad guys don't have motivation beyond being bad guys. To be fair, we didn't even finish the movie. Enough time was wasted on it already.
The Mysterious Benedict Society (2021)
My 7 year old and I LOVED IT!!
Very well written and often funny. We're hooked already after 2 episodes!
Hawaii Five-0: Oni Kalalea Ke Ku A Ka La'au Loa (2017)
Loved it! You've no heart if you didn't.
Veterans, Santas, explosions and miracles - what's not to love?!?
Carnival Row (2019)
I tried to enjoy, but constant f-bombs are out if place.
I'd love to see Amazon produce something in between TVMA and kiddie shows. People in the Victorian era (even the fantastical pseudo-Victorian era) are simply not believeable when the act and speak like our current 21st century society. I realize my opinion is probably in the minority but I don't care. I know it's a fantasy show, but this stretches credulity in the wrong direction.
The Grinch (2018)
I LOVED every moment!!
The Grinch is funny, sweet, and very well done. Super story and visually a real holiday treat! The child in me was awed, and my daughter (age 4) was enthralled! My husband really enjoyed it, too. Can't wait to own it and watch it every year!! Happy Christmas!!
