Last Shoot Out (2021)
Nice try...
One reviewer comments on powerlines in the shot at 31:59. All I want to know is how that person made it that far through the movie. Apparently my review needs to contain 150 characters so...like the movie running 1:26 I'll just keep dragging you along.
The Cowboy and the Indians (1949)
Good B flick for Saturday mornings...but...
A film that appears to address Native American issues at the turn of the century...until the scene where Autry sees the WWII uniform??? Wait. What? What exactly is the time period of this flick???
Death and Compromise (2019)
Already bummed this doesn't continue.
Stumbled into this on Prime/IMDB. Saturday mornings are for Westerns. Typically I prefer older westerns but this one caught my eye. I'm only one episode in and already bummed this doesn't seem to continue past one season.
Catchy dialog, pretty decent acting for a low-budget, gritty look and old-western color and overall enjoyable to watch.
In Search of Doc Holliday (2016)
Interesting though poorly constructed and edited.
An interesting attempt to tell the story of Doc Holliday, it falls short on production quality and accuracy.
While the story itself holds true to the documentaries I've read on him, Earp and Masterson the visuals that accompany the story line are sometimes not at all accurate to the area being discussed.
As a Westerner who has visited many of these places and now lives near Leadville and Glenwood Springs it irked me to see incorrect visuals presented with the story line. It led me to not trust the accuracy of the historic photos presented.
Overall though a solid documentary that is consistent with others about him, the Earps and Masterson.
Toy Story 4 (2019)
Nine years since #3 and this is what they create?
Pixar/Disney had nine years since Toy Story 3 to come up with a sequel story line and this poor excuse is all they could manage?
From the start the idea fell to pieces and the introduction of toys that never existed was a sign of where this plot was going. For those of us who grew up with the actual toys from the original Toy Story the premise of the movie was disappointing from the opening minutes.
The only good outcome is Woody has managed to escape and be free from this sequel mill.
The Cars That Made America (2017)
Another Historic Letdown
The other reviews cover it. A stone skimming over the surface. Could and should have been so much more.
MegaFault (2009)
So many bad reviews...
I just had to watch to see how bad it could be. It succeeds. Twenty minutes in. I'll see how long until it tears me apart.
