Kaala movie review :

Theme - Our land, our right!

Story - Kaala, leader of Dharavi people, politicians & corporate want to grab the land, how he & his people protest against them is story.

Screenplay - First 20 mins is very slow, after second heroine (Huma Qureshi) introduction pace gradually increases and gets faster till interval block, very racy. Second half deals with tales of Ramayana in version of Ravana point of view. An open ending climax is extraordinary which is unforgettable in history since Rajinikanth's political ideology is revealed.

Action Sequences - 3 to 4 action block, rain fight and fire fight in climax are top notch, goosebumps guaranteed.

Music - Santhosh Narayaan did a great job, though album has 9 songs, film only has 4 songs. Book the ticket for Dolby Atmos screen, hearing background score in Dolby surround sound screen gives you chills. Both Rajinikanth and villain Nana Pataker has a gripping score.

Romance & Comedy - After a long time, a mature romance scenes between hero & heroine worked, special mention to Eswari Rao character as Kaala's wife Selvi, she pull off easily with her funny one liners.

After watching the movie, everyone will come to know what Rajini meant by anti social elements infiltrated in a protest during Sterlite issue, the scene reminds there are people who can mess up your protest for not getting the Justice!!

On political perspective, for people who are tagging him 'BJP' will be disappointed ,there are political statements against the ruling party's ideologies & plans like clean India, digital India, national secretary H. Raja, etc. Rajini want to tell you by this film, his spiritual politics is different from Hindutva politics and no BJP/Modi is behind him, just God & people.

Rajini haters watched the movie and they liked it, but they are not trying to appreciate him, so there new claim is 'Its not Rajinikanth movie, its Ranjith movie'. Jokes on you guys, for goddamn sake Kaala is Rajini movie first, then director's movie. Remember, in audio launch Rajini gave idea the about Dharavi Tamil people who are shrinking due to land grabbers. Ranjith as a director had lots of his thoughts & ideas which made a mass entertaining movie!! Idea by Rajinikanth, execution by Ranjith.

Overall, film deals with inequality, socialism, oppression of a society, how anti social elements ruin a peaceful protest, how religion separate Indians. Kaala is stepping stone for his political entry. Definitely, its a comeback for Superstar Rajinikanth, Enjoy!!

Best Superhero movie after Dark Knight Trilogy and redefines how a Superhero movie should be !! 2 years of wait comes to an end at LUXE IMAX Cinemas, India (the premier show).

Zack Snyder nailed it with new style of direction and story telling.. Was very upset after reading the negative and mixed reviews from those heartless critics...just killing the movie by their ignorant theories like "Not MARVEL enough ? ".."No fun, very serious for superhero movie?"...Seriously if u guys having some preconceived notions of how Superhero movies should be like AVENGERS then don't come and watch it all.... ‪#‎LOSERS‬... am not going to be hypocritical like others if critics gave some good reviews , would have changed the mind..blah blah...NAAHH..not at all !

The movie is so intense, DARK, gritty 7 classy... Ben Affleck steals the show as Batsy and Jesse Eisenberg performance was too good as Lex as he has given his own style than the typical version of Lex Luthor.... The way movie unfolds was really thrilling, i was really at the edge of seat most of the time... Movie has its best moments and audience went so crazy for those scenes..The best part of the movie is the action sequences between the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader ..WHOA...it was totally EPIC and brutal..Special mention about Cinematography, the IMAX shots were great and its absolutely a visual treat !! This movie is not so perfect, YES it has its own let downs like character development could have been handled better or the central plot of the story-line may be improved.. but its totally okay for ME !

For the movie goers... do not expect like typical superhero movies u have seen like any Marvel stuffs (the hush rush fights.. blasting CGI and silly comedies) , then you will be disappointed... I would say this is DC kind of movies, it will be serious, dark and thrilling... this is how its future films going to be, its just my suggestion or simply do not expect anything, just sit back and enjoy !! Waiting for Justice league and Suicide Squad!

Only the People who knows the Depth of Love and Pain in it and the who misses someone badly,A "GIRL" who loves his "GUY" Truly/badly will love this wonderful Movie "Neethaane En Ponvasantham",yes this movie is only for the True Lovers and not for all..and its a Girl's Love Story!:)

And the one who said its a Bad/Mokka movie is the one who dose'not know what is "Love" or else the "ART of Filmmaking" or the usual Masala movie lovers.This film beautifully showcases the Egoistic nature in the couples,how the fights are happening between the couples in 'Reality'..And,those who said the songs are misplaced,or too many songs in the films,Come'on its a different or NEW way of "Storytelling"..Gautham conveyed what he wants to tell to the audience through SONGS,he incorporated the songs through the Screenplay(Matured people ll understand,i guess)..Oh God! the Acting of SAMANTHA was chance less..after watching this film i have became your fan officially :P,basically i was not impressed by your beauty at all,and now to be agreed that you are beautiful and u are an wonderful actor too!:) Jiva too acted well,his romance and egoistic behavior acting was totally good..but i was very impressed with Sam's acting much than Jiva's acting!..Gautham well used Maestro Ilayaraja sir by the beautiful songs,generally every director wants the situation BGM from him,but GVM used him differently by songs and pictured on the screen well..I particularly liked the breakup scene b4 the Post interval and it was Great..:) :)..

But technically the film is not up to the GVM film standards..Cinematography was above average,few angles were good but some of the top angles didn't suite according to the situation..and slight scenes were not executed properly and also Editing was Horrible,these were the flaws in the technical dept!

Note to mas-ala movie lovers : "If you don't like artistic,realistic,slow paced movies..don't say its Bad/Mokka movie,Just because it did not ENTERTAIN u dose'not means the film is BAD,and u guys are unlucky to watch these kinda movies and u guys don't deserve to tell these kinda movies(3,anbeshivam,Maniratnam sir movies movies,etc) the word MOKKA".

Note to GVM : Thank u very much sir for delivering a warm hearted soulful movie! and am proud to say that "Am" your FAN!! :) :) because even though u gained much popularity or more fans after VTV,u dint make this film as COMMERCIAL one just to maintain your fan-level,u proved this is your way of filmmaking and will not allow any commercial add-ons in your movie!!..In that am proud to be your FAN sir!!...

Note to Lovers : If u love someone badly/truly don't make them hurt or Don't break-up at any point or situation,Love actually makes u immature and u need to overcome that immaturity and need to understand the problem and try to make the solution for it..When it comes love,Time and Education will not permit and it will resist u and so u guys need to handle the situation well,so that need to be Matured first!! and final thing don't make YOUR GIRL CRY,she will not bare that pain (My opinion after watching this movie)....and also Before accepting the love the BOY will be mad in love with her and after the girl accepts the "Love"..She will love more than the boy!...#True Story

So,on the whole...Film is Superb! and my rating : 10/10 (as an audience)and 8/10 (crucially/technically)
