Masterpiece
28 January 2004
The very best spanish film of the 80's. No one can show the deep spanish oscurantism with so many details and keep you with a smile in the face, Ozores is a so important and influential director as Wilder or Bergman. A Masterpiece, 10/10.

Brilliant parody

A brilliant parody of classic western, with a great humor sense. It's full of brilliant jokes, I could not stop laughing. And the soundtrack is superb, great ... an 'spanglish' mix: "they goooooo for todo el oeste..." For me, 10/10

Spanish Masterpiece

Spanish super-director Mariano Ozores, a visionary, put all his skills on this film. He got from Fernando Esteso a decent interpretation, a very difficult thing to get, and all the cast are brilliant. This film was so successful that two years later Mariano Ozores directed 'El cura ya tiene hijo', another great comedy from the Ozores saga. I've rated this film 10/10.
