Family Guy: The Former Life of Brian (2008)
The Former Life Of Brian (6.11)
This episode centres around Brian finding out he has a son (despite only being 7).
It's 20+ minutes of absolute crap! Not a single laugh out loud moment! Which is weird because I have loved every episode of Family Guy up until now.
The pacing was off, the gags were all just miss, and it just seemed that the writers don't care about the fans.
They even go to a length to explain how Brian can have a son, but then say , to an effect, that they don't care, just go online and complain, and yes, I know that this in itself is a joke, it's also an admission of being EXTREMELY lazy. I hope that the writing for the rest of this season is better than this.
On another side note, is it me or is Stewie being a flamboyant homosexual baby slightly perverse??? This episode just went way too far with gay innuendo that it was embarrassing.
If anyone asked me about family guy, id say it was a fantastic show... however this episode was trash.
Creep (2004)
Contender for Worst Film Ever!
well.....it tried to be a social commentary at some points, but fails, its written so badly that I almost wanted to kill myself, the acting is terrible at best and the plot has so many holes that it might just be possible that there are more holes than plot.
The lead is a pathetic mess, an arrogant high class wannabe who conveniantly gets drunk and falls asleep in an underground station...You begin to wonder why these places employ guards.
Where there should be horror there is a massive cringe factor. Where there should be genuine emotion there's a telephone call for acting classes and where there's a play button on your DVD remote, there is also an eject button. save yourself the trouble of asking yourself "why? how? Did someone actually think this was going to work?" and just take the disc out, return it, get your money back, and buy Monsters Inc, because that is 100 times more believable than this contrived mess.
