Well I gotta start by saying that considering this movie had 2 of the hottest young stars of today, it really should have been better. Yes, there was some pretty funny stuff in it, but I was really expecting more considering Ashton's history of comedy. ( Dude where's my car was hilarious!!) This movie provided plenty of eye candy, and was reasonably entertaining, but was not nearly as good as I expected.

Yeah, ok, whatever! This movie was about as lame as they come! Sure, the performances by Bill (Murray) and Scarlett (Johannsen) were good, but the story line just wasn't there. Yeah, there was a couple of spots where I found myself laughing out loud, but as a rule I did NOT find this a funny movie. Not sure what category I'd put it in, but comedy just wasn't it. All in all, I am shocked and amazed that this film was even nominated let alone won any awards. How disappointing!!

This film was fun for the whole family. We all enjoyed it very much. Johnny Depp did an amazing job, as did Orlando Bloom.The costumes and sets were amazingly done, as was the dialogue. I highly recommend this film to anyone who enjoys adventurous, amusing films.
