The Witcher: Of Banquets, Bastards and Burials (2019)
Best episode so far
Aftet watching the first 4 episodes, I must admit that episode 4 is a masterpiece. I finally felt like I was watching a proper game of thrones episode.
Everything was finally falling into place and the timelines becoming clearer. Even Henry Cavill's performance was better and more convincing.
The ballroom scenes were fantastic and magical. The scene with the baby was traumatizing and I don't understand its connection to the story as of yet.
I feel this series deserved more than 8 episodes per season because many things seem rushed or just given without any backstory to back them up.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied after this episode.10/10.
Discipline (2014)
Just brilliant!
I watched this movie not expecting much, but I was blown away by the brilliant storyline and intricate plot. I watched it again with my wife this time, and we were both amazed at how real, funny and sad a small child can turn everyone's lives upside down. It beautifully depicts how people can have different perspectives, come from different backgrounds and cultures, feel superior or inferior towards each other, and be vulgar and racist.
Lupin: Chapter 5 (2021)
Ignore the bad reviews.
This is a marvelous series to watch. Superb acting. Amazing plot. Entertaining and fun to watch. As a Lupin fan, I loved it.
Ignore the negative reviews about plot holes. Some people just see the black dot in a white board and keep whining about it. Ignore them too.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
Loved it
Best sequel since T2. If you love James Cameron, you'll love this movie too. Don't care for the female agenda, coz it was done well. I mean it's fiction after all, so who cares, if it's a man or woman terminator for God's sake. Linda looks old, and plays the role of a hard really well. Arnie is amazing, with his acting, role, looks and one liners. Mackenzie is fantastic and should be back, in the next sequel. The action scenes were over the top, and only when it gets to the water scenes, I felt the editing was rushed and shaky. Overall rating 10/10
Arrow: Star City Slayer (2019)
Ouch!
The theme of this episode is totally different! I felt like I was watching a horror movie, and I totally loved it. The writers this season are way better than seasons 4,5,6 and I am actually enjoying the conversations among the characters. Even the annoying felicity seems to have changed, in a more interestingly complex role. Well done writers! Also well done fight choreographers, this show can finally rival some fights in daredevil! But not top them though! Still, much better than before, bravo! I love the future flashbacks as they bring a breath of fresh air to the show. I hated the repetitive island's flashbacks before. They got to the point where they became super boring. But not anymore, all's good now.
Arrow: Past Sins (2019)
Proud of you Oliver :)
Well I must say that Oliver made me proud today when he came forward with the truth on TV. Gone are the days of lies, its all now about transparency, decency and true heroism. I was skeptical about Stephen Amell in the first seasons of the show, but boy, he has grown and matured in his role of Green Arrow and started to bring a much welcomed depth to the character. I love how calm and composed he is, even when disasters strike. A lot to learn from this on a personal level. Finally, I'd like to say that I was shocked/surprised when Curtis died in the simulation, but sighed in relief coz his character has been so boring and carried a heavy political correctness agenda behind it, that made me sick to my stomach.
Arrow: The Slabside Redemption (2018)
I told you so..
That's what happens when you focus the story arc on Oliver and combine it with awesome writing, acting, and directing. You get the best episode of the seasons! Reminds me of that daredevil episode where he fought lots of bad guys in a very long and extended scene that was shot in one take. I love Oliver and he's so much more interesting to watch than team arrow is (sad to say) and this episode proves it. Hope the writers stick to the successful formula of (more Oliver, less arrow team)!
Arrow: The Longbow Hunters (2018)
We want more Oliver..
I just want to say that if you compare episode 1 to episode 2, you'll find a huge difference. Episode 1 was great, coz it was all about Oliver in prison. Episode 2 was a disaster and it revolved about the boring Diaz, longbow hunters and arrow team. Don't you get it writers?!!! We want more Oliver and less of everyone else. They are just booooooring, script wise and personality wise. If your script was any good, I'd enjoy watching diggle, felicity and team arrow more, but the script sucks and is so forced. Oliver's story line is more interesting and his scenes are what we want to see more and more and more. Show us more arrow, not arrow team, and fix your damn script, that pales in comparison to even flash or supergirl.
