Superstar (2019)
Decent movie; Amazing acting; Nice Songs
Mahira as a 'Superstar' did justice with her role. This movie is going to stay on top charts for quite some time. Bilal Ashraf dance is average but his acting is not bad. Atif Aslam did an amazing job with the track 'In dinon'. All those people saying this movie is a flop do not have good taste for movies. Because this movie has top story line; nice dialogues; no vulgarity and amazing actors. Its a must watch.
Parey Hut Love (2019)
Boring and Illogical movie.
The trailer was good. But the movie actually made no sense.
The script was weak. The film lacked a grasping story.
The people in the hall were very upset to waster their time and money.
I would not recommend you to watch this movie. ARY should make better movies.
Chhalawa (2019)
Fantastic to Watch. This movie will win your heart.
This movie was released on Eid special. And it really is full of masti, fun, and masala. I would recommend you people to watch this movie for a light hearted entertainment. And it will surely win your hearts.
Climate Change: The Facts (2019)
It's all in our power, is it now or never?
Sir David Attenborough has always been amazing with his documentaries related to nature. His quest to bring us to light that this planet is vulnerable to our actions is heart touching. We have to reduce our carbon emissions, green house gases and deforestation to a minimum. It's the only way we can hope for a better future. The question is; are we going to take action now. The power is in our hands. We maybe the destroyer or the savior of this beautiful planet we call our home.
Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (2018)
Not as hilarious as JPNA Part-1 ... A total Disappointment.
This movie though has been under the spotlight. But for those people who have watched JPNA (Part-1), they will not find it as amusing as the first part.
The story is too boring after the INTERMISSION part. Only the first part has some comedy in it. Wasi acting with spontaneous dialogues does make you laugh. Fahad Mustafa is a good addition alongwith Mawra Hocane. They both steal the show. Hamayun Saeed was not given a good role in the movie. Shot location was superb.
Adding India vs Pakistan part was useless. It was only done to prolong the run time of this movie. This is not a bad movie but overall it's a great disappointment for all JPNA-1 fans.
Maan Jao Naa (2018)
A Perfect Treat for Young Generation
NGO ki baat NGO mein hi rehne chahiye!
Rania, a young girl was of the opinion, that marriage is against the dignity of women because it causes them to change and adopt to her husbands will. However in the end she herself finds that where there is love, marriage becomes irresistible.
A message for the youth.
Marriage is not a crime rather it should be promoted because its Sunnah,
Its the only way to get rid the society from rape and other mighty sins.
The movie was a mix of romance, with a little bit of comedy. The acting was good. The Hero (forgot his name) has impressive looks. It was full of entertainment and color.
University students and young couples could watch this to understand the hitch hikes that happen during a relationship.I will rate it a 7/10.
Sawal 700 Crore Dollar Ka (2016)
The dumbest movie I have ever watched.
The movie is a complete mess. Neither it can be categorized as an action movie. Since most of the action is graphically designed and the user can easily recognize it being fake. The action is unnecessary at times when the cars are chasing and just going on and on, nothing serious happens. Action is cut/retake type.
Neither can it be placed in love category. The hero falls in love with a girl who comes out of nowhere. There is no link between the scenes leading up to their meet up.
Nor can it be placed in comedy category. The third class comedy of stage dramas is used at multiple times. A cop is made fool by two dumb friends. This makes no real sense.
The story has no strong plot. A viewer feels as if it was written by some school going boy, it is so immature. Story is 3/10. Direction is 6/10. Cinematography is 8/10. Editing is 6/10. Overall movie is 2/10.
While watching the movie viewers wanted to kill the time, the producer or themselves. At the end they were blaming their friends and colleagues for wasting their time and money in this movie.
He Named Me Malala (2015)
A biopic, that has nothing to do with Pakistan.
Malala, a girl who had lived in northern Pakistan, was shot in her head by Taliban for daring to suggest that girls should go to school. This may be true. But the fact is that in all over Pakistan, we still have schools, girls do go to school. People's minds are clear that education they must give to their children, to give them a hope of better future.
So in the depicted story, it is just a corner plot, a way to defame Pakistan. Moreover it was said that Mullah Fazlullah was a 'Radio mullah'. I do have strong doubts about this statement. Taliban were a small group of militants. How could have they acquired the equipment to set up an FM station of their own and summon on it everyday. It takes a lot of money, access to international market and some genius mind to install it. Surely a group this conservative mind could not do this. So its easier said than done.
Finally the opening quote in this film is misquoted. It was originally said by 'Tipu Sultan', a Muslim sub-continent king who said: 'It's better to live like a lion for one day, than to live like a coward for 100 years'. So a correction is required in this regard.
Overall it is a misguide of quotes, facts and figures, a hype, a propaganda. Malali's family must have been paid a huge sum of money to be a part of this plot in this film. It must have been scripted by western minds to defame my country. So in real life she has played a role of traitor to her country.
However, I support the cause that 'pen and book are the strong weapons'. But don't forget that today's strong weapon is MEDIA. And through this film it has tried to change the perspective of a common western person that Pakistan is full of militants of this kind, and girls are shot like Malala. But its surely not true.
