Air Crash Investigation: Deadly Pitch (2019)
Season 19, Episode 5
8/10
Excellent Episode!
26 August 2021
I really enjoy this series and have probably watched at least 50 or more episodes. This one is particularly well done, the accident is interesting in that the plane first comes down in a field but continues to plow forward across a highway!

What also makes this episode interesting are the twists and turns the investigation takes. I highly recommend watching this one.

The Invaders: Task Force (1967)
Season 2, Episode 16
8/10
Good episode with a great cast.
8 August 2021
Interesting story how the aliens again seem to be on the verge of a big move, only to be foiled at the last minute by Vincent and company. You have to watch this series in the context of being in the 60's, not in the 21st century. Otherwise, the props and plot holes become too hokey.

But the cast is really good here, with Frank Marth and John Stephenson who each made numerous appearances in "Hogan's Heroes". And Barney Phillips, who plays the ousted executive who doesn't believe in the aliens. This is great because in an episode of "The Twilight Zone", he plays an alien! Hopefully you can catch "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?" and then watch this episode.

Hogan's Heroes: War Takes a Holiday (1968)
Season 3, Episode 21
9/10
One of the Best Heroes Episodes, but.....
4 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode, one of the top-ten Hogan's for sure. Lots of action, lots of laughs, and an excellent story. One of the best scenes occurs when William Christopher and Ivan Dixon break into the Nazi radio station and take it over. Obviously, having Dixon doing the announcing is the ultimate!!!

However, there is one major flaw in the script. It occurs early when Major Hochstetter shows up. He looks at Hogan and says "Who is this man?!?!?" This makes no sense since Howard Caine has already appeared in seven previous episodes as Hochstetter, meaning he knows who Colonel Hogan is! This makes no sense. Unless this episode was shot the previous season and was not used?

I hope someone can clarify this.

Hogan's Heroes: Bad Day in Berlin (1968)
Season 4, Episode 11
9/10
Excellent Supporting Cast
11 May 2021
As others have commented, there is much going on in this episode and is is different than normal in that most of the action occurs in Berlin. So I wish to comment on the rather amazing cast assembled here.

First, we have John Stephenson and Edward Knight, who each appeared in at least eight other Hogan's Heroes episodes. Knight almost always as an SS officer and Stephenson cast as a scientist, spy, and various officer ranks.

Next, we have two actors who each appeared in some of the Twilight Zone's best episodes. John Hoyt in "Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up" and Harold J. Stone in "The Arrival".

I'm not sure there is another HH episode with such an extensive cast.

Very Mediocre
22 April 2021
I have enjoyed the Crossword Mystery series but was disappointed with this new episode. Maybe it was rushed through production, or maybe they couldn't do retakes or shoot other scenes because of COVID, who knows, but my overall impression of this (like another HMM movie that recently aired) was that it seemed incomplete. It was still a good story and the actors fine, tho Logan's constant "Interesting" gets annoying, I gave this a 7, barely.

Let us hope the writers work in some better dialogue and we get a little more suspense in future "Crosswords".

Absolutely Hysterical!
22 April 2021
The first time I saw this episode, I only gave it a 7. I must have been multi-tasking that evening and missed some of the great lines. Watched it a second time and found it to be one of the best episodes of Season 4. So many funny scenes and excellent inter-play amongst the cast.

Although Sheldon and Leonard are in the most scenes, Raj steals the show trying to protect his sister. And the scene near the end when Howard and Raj get into hit, absolutely hysterical!!!

You don't want to miss this one :D.

So glad TBBT has run its course.
23 December 2020
Aaaaaannnnnddddd Sheldon and Amy continue to be annoying. So old. Others have posted before about the lack of creativity and originality since season 9 and I now agree. I started losing interest during season 8, found 9 to be better overall, but 10 and 11 just too often predictable. Now, season 8 did have some episodes that I rated at 9, but it also had some that I rated 6 or lower. For season 9, I think I rated almost every episode a 7 or 8, but then seasons 10 & 11 were so blah.

Anyway, I had never watched any of seasons 11 or 12 until this Fall - what a struggle watching them, LOL! And where are Howard and Bernadette's kids? Really would have made some of the shows better had we seen real kids.

Funny or Predictable?
16 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Well, I came to TBBT late - didn't start watching until it was in syndication - but am definitely a fan. I may have written a few reviews years ago, not sure, but felt the need to write one here. Partly to put my 2¢ worth in and partly to reply to all those giving 1's for their ratings in many of season 10 & 11 episodes.

First, I agree that the show is not as good as it was in the early years and I find myself giving fewer 8, 9's and 10's and more 6's than in the first six or seven seasons. Next, I would also agree there is much more predictability in recent years, too. There is still good humor, Leonard usually comes in with a great deadpan zinger, and the bantering between Sheldon and Amy is usually good for a few yucks.

Finally, as for this episode, we see Amy and Leonard together - ehhh, it's OK, like average - and we see Raj and Wolowitz doing their band-thing - again, nothing too new nor exciting, tho with a few funny lines. But when Penny brings pizza to Sheldon while he is working on string theory....hahahahaa, it is hysterical to see Penny working with him as he is at his white board! So, what would have been a 5 rating, I raise it up to a 7 because of Penny and Sheldon.

Peace out, scouts!

Not the best that Michael Hagarty has brought to MSW
4 March 2020
Some of my favorite episodes of MSW are the ones with the recurring characters, such as MI6 Agent Michael Hagarty and reformed jewel thief Dennis Stanton. However, this episode, featuring Hagarty, was a bit of a dud. Cliche lines, supporting actors that didn't bring much passion to their roles, and, truly, a bit of a dull plot.

This episode could have been so much better, and while it probably only rates a blasé 5, I over-ranked it a bit because of Hagarty. Worth watching once, but no need to watch it again.

Not up to par with previous Teagarden Mysteries.
6 September 2019
I enjoy this series as it's easy to watch, often has some interesting plot twists, and the banter between Ro and Lynn adds some flavor and continuity. Many of the episodes I've wanted to give an 8, but then there would be some really weak dialogue, silly scenes, etc. and I usually end up posting a 6 or 7.

But with this episode, ugh, I was tempted to give it a 5 or worse! I enjoyed it for the story line, but the dialogue was often boring and some of the scenarios a bit outlandish - walking about the dorms like that, really???

I hope future Teagarden's will be better.

Somewhat predictable, definitely enjoyable!
21 August 2019
Been laid up on crutches the past week, so watching a lot of HM&M - fun shows, enjoyable shows, and some interesting shows. Columbo almost always comes thru with an interesting episode while the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries are fun and enjoyable. The character developments have been improving, tho I do miss Martin. Thought he seemed the most compatible for her.

Additionally, the back-and-forth between Roe and Lynn has improved with each episode. You can always count on them for a good comeback or two!

As for "A Very Foul Play", it felt like many of the other Teagarden's: some good lines, an interesting plot twist, and I want to give the episode an 8, but.....then there will be some lame scene or dialogue and I end up giving it a 7. I think I've rated them all a 7, LOL!!!

Bottom line: i enjoyed this episode!

Whose Line Is It Anyway?: Show No. 410 (2001)
Season 3, Episode 37

One of their best shows
6 December 2018
Drew mentions several times that this is their 100th show, and makes a few jokes about it. However, the highlight is the Song Styles where all the cast perform as The Village People. One of the the all-time best by Wayne and, of course, with a gaff in it that the cast weaves into the other subsequent skits. Mark this down as a "must see" episode.

Whose Line Is It Anyway?: Show No. 227 (2000)

Classic Episode
17 November 2018
If you can catch this one, do! It is one of the best overall shows the Drew Carey crew did. Scenes from a Hat is almost always excellent, and Narrate is one of my favorite skits, but this Narrate might be one their best. And then, as is often the case, what happens in Narrate gets used in SFAH.

However, what really makes this episode tops is Wayne's performance in Song Styles: he sings as a strip-o-gram! You will laugh so hard you'll cry.

Hunter: Last Run (1989)
Season 5, Episode 21

A very well done episode
30 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Decades TV Network has been running a Hunter marathon all weekend and, not having seen this show in ages, decided to stay in and watch. They ran practically the entire seasons 4 and 5. Some of the episodes were too predictable and some a little hokey. However, if you think about this in terms of the 80's most of the episodes are pretty good, especially if you like police shows.

Anyway, this episode was not quite what you would expect, nor was the ending. If you watch it, you need to watch it all the way thru. Not sure why McCall is barely featured in this episode, and, in fact, this story would have been a good one to expand into a two-parter. Not much on the Columbian connections and with undercover operations going on, there could have been a little more on this. Dee Dee does run an internal sting operation so there are multiple plot lines to follow.

Of all the Season 5 episodes I saw, this one was definitely the best.
