Will Trent (2023)
Faiths Diabetes
Good episode, just that Faiths diabetes was suddenly not a problem was a little lazy writing. First season she was helt hostage and there it was a big problem. I told to myself that she injected Insulin before she got rid off her bag (by the way was there a pen or something similiar in that bag, I can't remember) or she found little apetizers to eat. But she was badass as always. Will looked great in that suit and was a really good convincing lawyer. I like Angies short hair btw, but not where the relationship with Will is going. I thought we were over that. They are both too broken for a healthy relationship.
Nimona (2023)
A knight who loves another knight doesn't slay the dragon, but befriends it.
This was exactly what I needed today.
Fun, action, a love story and story twists, which are not perfectly but very nicely animated.
What I loved too was the perfect imperfection of the characters, the curvy girl with not the best mental health who is the real star, the knight in shining armor that doesn't lose his princess but the man he loved, and everything told with so much fun that the time flew by.
Go see it with your kids, your partner, or just alone on your sofa on a cold thursday in winter.
Netflix is really the cinema of the future, this movie would probably even worked in the big screen, but Netflix doesn't need a big screen to impress.
Charmed: I Dreamed a Dream... (2021)
Great episode
The new Charmed is finally becoming good and I like it very much, but copying the end of the Charmed ones?
It's almost exactly copying the og Charmed, it even happened at the end of season 3 like in the original one.
As far as I know the same producer did both shows, did they forget, that they had to made this storyline in the og Charmed because Shannen Doherty left? Did Madeleine Mantock have to go, too? I hope the next "Sister" will be a better actress than Rose McGowan in the og Charmed.
Charmed: Bruja-Ha (2021)
I am glad, I sticked with the series
In the beginning of this new Charmed series, I was sceptical and the first few episodes were pretty bad.
As a 90ths kid, I knew the old series very well and loved it.
But this episode showed me, that this new series is worth watching, I hope the series continues with such good episodes.
Time Trap (2017)
Keeps your mind busy
I started to watch the movie thinking it is surely some kind of B-Movie because I didn't know any of the actors. First it seems, it is really a b-movie, no intro, you are thrown in the middle of the story. But the plot was deeper than I thought, no pun intended. It is like Interstellar, your mind does something with you.
Spoiler:
The caveman were a good enemy, but it almost seemed like these archaelogical students didn't know what a caveman is.
The cgi was not bad for what I think was a low budget movie.
I like that all the "dead" people were alive again at the end, but it lacks the Information how the got pass the cavemen. How did they get the professors sister out of the time freeze? I think that the fact that the future man doesn't know how to speak an old language is not that plausible, he seemed like a archaeologist himself, I hope in the future we have a Universal translator.
Vagrant Queen (2020)
Fun show
Like every Canadian sci-fi show. Fun, sarcastic, bad cgi, what not to love.
The Lion King (2019)
Beautiful
It is so much better than the original. You are almost forgetting that these are not real animals. Someone must have watched all of these portrayed animals for hours and hours to simulate their movements. The last movie was Animals acting like Humans, this one really portrays animals. The Music is okay too, not so much different to the old movie, but okay. I like that they don't show too much emotions, these are animals, they don't show emotions as distinctly as we humans do. I've seen the Cats trailer and emotions on an animal makes it just creepy. All in all a beautiful movie with impressive CGI.
Manifest (2018)
Kinda like Lost
The series is okay so far, but was Lost such a long time ago that we should have forgotten the plot? A missing plane, a bunch of numbers, sounds familiar?
Bones: The Lost in the Found (2015)
I don't like where this is going
Dear Producers of Bones,
You have a difficult time struggling with Emilys pregnancy, I understand, but how this is handled is just awful. Should we really believe that the best anthropologist in the world hadn't realized that she is pregnant for three months? Come on, that just sucks.
I also dislike the whole Booth is struggling with gambling again storyline, are you so much out of ideas to put in such a lame plot into this story?
By the way, if Bones was really pregnant three months earlier than she expected, she would have been drinking alcohol during her pregnancy.
I hope there will also be better story lines in the next season.
Thank you.
A fan
Glee: The Quarterback (2013)
Never cried so much in my Life for a simple TV-episode
This episode was so perfect and so sad at the same time that I have a problem to describe it. I cried almost the full episode and I'm not a 15- year old sentimental Gleek, I'm an adult woman and often very cynical, a little bit like Coach Sylvester. The episode wasn't too soft it was just simple, but packed with great songs. For the cast it was probably the hardest episode they have ever filmed and I congratulate them for their perfect job. And I thank the production team for the one funny woman with the tree, Coach Beiste and Puck, that actually let me stop crying :-D
We will miss you Cory, It's a shame!
