Mulan (2020)
Another 2020 disappointment
If I could give this 0 stars I would. Absolutely awful live action. It's a completely different movie and a huge let down.
The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021)
Surprisingly Amazing!
Went in with low expectations but was blown away! Fantastic storyline and animation! This is now a must watch!
Scream (2015)
Awesome Season 1&2!!! Why ruin it in season 3??
Absolutely loved the first two seasons! So I'm am incredibly disappointed they abandoned that storyline, so much was left not to mention many questions unanswered. Didn't give season 3 a chance, finish what you started because that was a fantastic plot with great characters.
I Spit on Your Grave (2010)
Women should NEVER go to jail for killing their rapists!!
I want to start with the only reason this got 4 stars is because she did what was just. Five hillbillies brutality gang rape a young author, somehow she escapes and gets justice for herself. Rapists hardly ever face justice and if they do it's mediocre at best. I'm not advocating violence!! This is a serious issue in today's world. With human trafficking at an all time high along with sexual assaults not being taken seriously.
Knight and Day (2010)
RomCom fun
A solid romantic comedy. It's a cute and fun flick with humor and action throughout. There a a few moments that are realistic enough that it's an actual laugh out loud moment.
If you're looking for a serious action packed movie this is not it. Personally I would classify this as a chick flick. Romance, humor, and a little danger. Nothing more. Still a fun view that I have added to my guilty pleasure list.
Lost Child (2017)
A slow burn drama NOT horror.
Interesting use of backwoods folklore to add suspense to a otherwise slow (and I do mean slow) burn drama. There is no actual horror parts to the movie. It's was catching enough that once I was to a certain point I finished the whole movie but I was multitasking as the same time. Your undivided attention is not necessary to understand the movie. If interested in old time hillbilly lore it will be worth the time.
Charlie's Angels (2019)
Not bad could have been better.
It's what you would expect from a remake. There were some funny parts. But nothing that blew me away. Wasn't a waste of time but probably wouldn't pay to see it again.
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019)
Hopefully a sequel
Honestly it was worth the wait and it ended in a way that could set up a sequel after all the books were a trilogy. So there is definitely room for improvement and character development. Also Lana Del Rays version of "Season of the Witch" was amazing!
