Hei$t: The Great Robbery of Brazil's Central Bank (2022)
Too long
A great real crime story that could be told in 45 minutes takes 3 episodes of redundancy, is an ego trip for cops and thieves and withbtge excuse of being a documentary left the viewer with no other option to sit through unending monologues. There is no assesment on the script. Both cops and robbers just let their imagination go nuts and said whatever they suppose they have to say.
The viewer is left alone with an ocean of info and no critical view of the facts, the characters or the force of order.
There is also a total lack of context. It seems that they are actually afraid to deliver a comprehensive picture of the facts.
Bardo, falsa crónica de unas cuantas verdades (2022)
Inspired
Inspiring
How hard could it be to make un chien andalou?
It is a beautiful movie with every single piece of the puzzle, it is very easy to watch and yes movies most of the time are just movies but sometimes the artist must make a statement about his time, we need to know what is the present from the point of view of the filmaker.
There are a lot of gratuitous moments, a lot of "let's talk in the kitchen", but this is a moment of time that deserves be told, this is a picture of everything in the not so clear now frontier between two worlds that had been collapsing for a long time now, it is important to met yourself in a movie.
Captive (2016)
Engaging
Actually it's a first person account of what happened during their kidnapping and also is a first person account from the kidnapper and also from army and police services.
That just never happens, it shows how blind I was and bias could be a person.
How a solution is applied hands down just because.
It was pretty uncomfortable to watch survivors tell this experiences but life is as rude as it is, also amazing how insensitive could the public be.
Ad Vitam (2018)
Hooked
It was an intense experience, great performances a bizarre yet relatable topic, it has a pretty amazing format every character is intense.
What happened with all the car plates? That distracted me a lot.
Evil Genius: The True Story of America's Most Diabolical Bank Heist (2018)
Great documentary
It was a great format, you can create your own opinion. But do we really need explicit images?
You can feel related with every character, and also with some cultural bias.
Great work.
Marcella (2016)
Great acting
Marcella pick a topic please, this series is literally all over the place, it visits every possible conundrum. To be absolutely honest I enjoy the chapters, but as a whole is just a mistake great acting though.
Fate: The Winx Saga (2021)
Thanks but no thanks
No matter who you are or where, you've already watched this series is just the same idea once and again. It's a totally harmless and uninspired by the book version of a story told a thousand times.
Jason and the Argonauts (1963)
Awesome movie
It's hard imagining to watch it through but it was extremely appealing it seems almost magnetic. Amazing special effects and an eye for detail.
Kakegurui (2017)
Kakegurui
That was actually quite a ride. Kakegurui is intense emotional, sad but somehow in a very bizarre way even uplifting, and relating to gambling it is actually on the spot.
B: The Beginning (2018)
It's a dark and sad journey
Pretty interesting, smart and somehow extremely sad is an interrupted childhood tale, there is no rush enjoy the ride.
Les innocentes (2016)
Dark and intense
A proper train of thought during war is close to sadism. The movie is amazing and speaks directly to the heart.
Evolution (2001)
Idk
Is so stupid, so lame that in some level deserve to be watched. I don't know this movie is a guilty pleasure.
