Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special (2021)
Two Multi-Millionaires Complain to a Billinaire
A waste of 2 plus hours watching this complain session by Harry and his wife - Very disappointed in Oprah who made her fortune off the back of middle-aged "White" women use her platform to promote victimhood and in order for Harry's wife to trash her husbands family by using the "Race Card" with no receipts -
This so called "interview" showcases Harry and his wife along with Oprah's vindictiveness towards the Royal Family and the people of UK and the Commonwealth -
Fast forward - this smear campaign has made the RF more popular and these three popularity decrease.
Bridgerton (2020)
The Bridgerton's - The Duke And I
A true fan of Julia Quinn and The Duke & I was my first book read in her Bridgeton series and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the story come to live before my very eyes in Shonda/Netflix's version of this beloved Romance story! Loved everything about Netflix The Duke & I as the struggles were real for the mothers of girls as we had seen in P&P w/ Mrs. Bennett and making advantageous matches for their securities in a "Man's World" - The Duke & I delivered a stunning performance by a stellar cast of professional actors ... Lady Danbury & Lady Whistledown are two forces to be reckoned with ... The Duke & I deliver on a story worthy of Julia Quinn's imagination with pure visual delights ... Exquisite Costumes, Stunning Cinematography, breathtaking Choreography, and a well written adaptation of JQs novel of the same name. Thank you, Shonda Rhimes & Netflix, for allowing me to glimpse what the world of Regency period may have looked like with all the delights and naughty bits - I loved seeing Simon's back story and watching him realize through the eyes of love from his wife (Daphne) that he was a man of true worth - Simon never stood a chance from the moment Daphne bumped into (literally) at a ball - looking forward to seeing more of Daphne & Simon and the Bridgerton's "Pall Mall" game!
Sanditon (2019)
My New Period Drama - Sanditon S1
Sanditon S1 is my all-time favorite show & want more of it - I am hoping for a continuation of Sidlotte's love story - the way season 1 was left half-way through as a cliffhanger but more of a cliffanger. My first viewing of Sanditon I could tell this show was not like any Period Drama I had seen before - the opening credit is the best I have ever seen in a show, this is a beautifully written love story with a phenomenal cast of actors, exquisite historical costumes, stunning cinematography, choreography numbers I had not seen done before all set to music created just for each character by Ruth Barrett. We see the Sanditon through the eyes of our heroine Charlotte Heywood, a farmer's daughter who likes to read and has an interest in architecture, she meets Tom & Mary Parker by a chance accident. The couple invite Charlotte to accompany them to Sanditon and stay until the Summer end. Charlotte the eldest of twelve siblings is beyond happy to go on an adventure with the Parkers. Charlotte does just that, she sets out in a carriage to be delighted along the way by Tom Parker pointing out all that Sanditon has to offer as well as what he envisions for the seaside town he is currently building. In Sanditon is where Charlotte meets brooding Hero of the story Tom's younger wayward brother Sidney Parker. He comes off aloof at their first meeting and refers to his sister in law, New Maid? Sidney was caught unexpected to be so affected by our Charlotte and went to great lengths to make sure she knew he didn't care a fig she was there - but he could not guard his broken heart and shattered dreams some 10 years past of a family of his own. Come visit the world of Sanditon that was started by Jane Austen and brought to life by Andrew Davies and produced by Red Planet Pictures. #SaveSanditon #SanditonPBS
