Great...until it's not
25 April 2023
This movie's first act is a little long but remains the best part of the picture. Most of the established character intrigue of the film lies there and remains there because the second we start to progress the film it dips so hard in quality.

If you want a visual feat that's entirely masterful in style, this movie is exactly for you. But if you want the intense and deep character writing you've seen in Hereditary and Midsommar, look elsewhere. This movie has nothing characters. The plot is also nothing. The entire runtime of this film goes for far too long and starts to become an endurance test rather than an actual film. It's boring and meandering on every scene until you get to the most insane climaxes that really keeps hitting you over the head to see if you got it. I genuinely hate this movie for everything that's not the visuals. The acting is fine but the actors weren't given much of anything to work with and boy does it show when you find out that every single character is flatter than a 2x4. I don't recommend this movie.

I'm going to keep this brief
12 August 2022
This movie is begging for you to think for yourself. A fantastic ensemble cast in this satirical take on Gen Z friendships and how fake some people can really be.

As one would expect from a satire, this one is trying to say something. And as I stated above, it's begging for you to think for yourself. This movie is important and especially for Gen Z.....y'know, the members that are terminally online.

Candyman (2021)
8/10
You all need to pull your head out of the sand
13 September 2021
If you think that this iteration of Candyman is woke then you've clearly never seen or weren't paying attention to the 1992 entry. To pile on that, you also aren't familiar with the original story by Clive Barker named The Forbidden that was also politically charged but for a British reasoning. Nia DaCosta's Candyman is nothing different from those 2, just a modern sequel to the 1992 film to show that nothing has changed between then and now and that's a problem. This film is beautifully shot and has a lot of great sequences in it. If you're going into it with the expectations that it needs to be a linear structure then you're already leading yourself astray. This film opts for more disjointed sequencing which allows for a more creepy viewing experience, while not SCARY it is intensely creepy and will get under your skin. I would say "give this a go" but only if you're going in with good faith for the movie. If you weren't....why even bother?

Saw 3D (2010)
2/10
No. No. No. No.
12 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I recently rewatched all the Saw movies and Jigsaw for the first time. This is the worst movie in the franchise. Period. The only good thing about this movie is the direction. The writing is awful, the characters are awful, the acting is awful, the traps are obnoxious (LOOKING AT YOU, BRAZEN BULL), and the ending is terrible. We all get the "twist" at the ending that was just a waste of our time but I didn't care too much by then.

This movie is awful. Hoffman is reduced to a hulking mass of murder that kills like 12 police officers in the precinct and all of these people are so stupid. There's no plotline to this movie. The attempt at one with Bobby Dagen is interesting and I like the idea but its execution is so bad that I nearly forgot the point until the ending with Joyce. Even if you're watching this series for the first time, just watch a summary of this one. It's not worth your time. There are traps that exist for no reason than to just eat up time, the special effects are garbage, the 3D effects are laughably bad, and the ending will make you scream in frustration. NOT GOOD.

Spiral (2021)
6/10
I have thoughts.
12 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
OK so I just want to preface this review by saying that I'm not a huge Saw fan. I really like some of the movies but I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I would also like to say that I'm glad the Demon Slayer movie was my first film back to cinemas or else I would've been underwhelmed.

Now. I want to start with my biggest problems with the movie being the traps themselves. They're not winnable. Even if you do fulfill the requested action, it's nigh impossible to successfully beat the trap. Because they're not winnable, my enjoyment for the movie as a whole dropped dramatically.

Next, I've seen a lot of people talk about Chris Rock's acting in this. I think he did a fairly good job at the position but I think the biggest issue there was the fact that the script borders on garbage at times. There were a few scenes that felt impactful but for the most part it was bleh. I don't blame Rock for a less than stellar performance, I blame the script.

Speaking of script, this one is super predictable. You can tell who the killer is well before the final act even begins. The thing that seals the deal is when we see the "skinning trap" or the lack-thereof with the WORST reasoning to have someone in a trap. Not only that but we didn't see him in it which was a huge reveal.

And here's the detriment of this movie. It falls apart when you start to think about it in-depth. I'd been so mad about this movie for the past few weeks that I've been ranting to my family about it. I'm sure they're tired of hearing about it but I'm not OK.

As a movie in the Saw franchise, this one is massively OK. I put it below Saw IV and above Saw VII but that is such a low bar to cover. Saw VII is a waste of film reel. Should you watch this? If you really like Saw movies, it might be best to avoid this one. If you are OK with Saw movies, you might enjoy this one a little more.

If this movie is a 5.3/10 then Saw VII is definitely in the 4s because that movie is a mess and just awful. I'm putting this as a 6 because of the potential and the enjoyment I had but it's closer to a 5.5/10. I rounded up.

Good comedy
4 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This movie gets to the point where it's downright hilarious. There are really odd camera effects trained on Katie Holmes at times where I think they wanted the viewer to be scared but they couldn't be bothered to make whatever was happening actually scary. I was more interested on finding the loose change I saw in the theater prior to the film starting than the actual movie. Another reviewer said that this movie is long for a short runtime and they're not lying. Invisible Man felt shorter than this. I turned my phone BACK ON during this movie to check the time (nobody else was in my theater, so I didn't care). I was thinking about leaving but I went ahead and read the Wikipedia article on the movie to spoil myself on the ending and decided to stay around for a good laugh. I strongly recommend not seeing this movie at all and just pretending that The Boy (which I didn't think was all that amazing to begin with) is a standalone movie like it was probably intended. None of the performances are that good, the plot is stupid and underdeveloped, and the ending is a riot. Not to mention the fact that the bit before the end credits start rolling I was asking myself "that's a rip from Halloween IV's ending, y'know just without any of the blood and fun of Halloween IV." Just don't do anything with this film. Not worth the 86 minutes.

This movie is just bad but there is some fun to be had
17 January 2020
The acting is bad, but with such a horrible screenplay I can't be surprised. The editing is horrendous as people will just teleport from one room on the second floor to suddenly being in the kitchen or will teleport from outside to coming down the stairs inside the house to the first floor. This movie is a farce for all the wrong reasons. BUT to give credit where it's due, this movie is a great fun movie to put on at a party and enjoy like The Room where you just rip into it. If I'm being serious, I give this movie a 2/10 for just all around poor everything. But on the fun scale, this movie gets a solid 7/10. It's a great "watch with friends while drinking" movie that I recommend solely for that reason alone.

RWBY: As Above, So Below (2020)
Season 7, Episode 9
10/10
To the people.
9 January 2020
Onto the actual review for this episode. Sorry, needed to get that rant out of the way. This is easily one of the best episodes in all of RWBY and the score doesn't accurately represent that. The pacing, the acting, the animation, the writing is all fantastically done here as the volume is starting to reach its climax. I hope you, the reader looking at this review, take into consideration that the ratings here aren't accurate to how the actual volume is. This episode gives answers to things from this volume as well as perfectly setting up the suspense the next few episodes need to start with. So far, this has been the perfect episode of volume 7 and is one of the best episodes of RWBY ever.

The Grudge (2019)

A decent start with horror
3 January 2020
I don't get why people are already hating this movie. It's not the best one ever made, but I enjoyed the characters (who were likeable), I liked the direction, the acting (aside from a few enunciation issues early in the film). The scares were well done and a few of them really worked. The plot, unlike the 2004 version, was cohesive and made sense as to its progression. I say it's worth a watch and it's a good way to start 2020 for horror. That said, it's not going to be for everyone and please take the rating to heart.

Halloween (I) (2018)
8/10
Best sequel
22 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
No it's nowhere near as good as the first movie, but it sure as hell is better than everything that came after. Good characters, great kills, and a story that makes sense (here's looking at you, Halloween 6). Curtis does a great job of building up her paranoia throughout the movie while also keeping that feel of the Laurie Strode we all know and love (that also made a comeback in H20). This movie is an indefinite film. I can almost guarantee a sequel is in the works. Does that mean the new Halloween 2 is bad? Hell no! In fact, I'll go as far as to say this is the best sequel to ever come out of this franchise. It felt really hand-in-hand with the original while also distancing itself by handling the deaths very differently. Halloween (2018) is a fantastic entry to the series and strongly deserves the praise it has received.

Slender Man (I) (2018)
4/10
Oh dear
15 August 2018
I went into this movie today only wanting it to be a buffer movie because I was going to see Blood Fest later and I already wanted my expectations to be low, so I went to Slender Man for just a time waster. And boy, did it waste my time. There were only two things in this entire movie that actually gives it merit and might (MIGHT) be recommendable. Those things are: the good suspense when Slender Man is on screen, the few disturbing scenes that were really well put together, Joey King's performance. If anything, I'd recommend it solely for Joey King. She steals the show. You almost forget she's not the main character. If it weren't for the boring nothing characters that were made, I'd almost think it was about her and her friends, but then we go back to Hallie for the final act after spending time with Wren for like 30 or so minutes. The ending is just an eyeroll-fest. This movie is nothing special at all. It's best for just a random impulse rent from Redbox or $5 ticket at AMC on Tuesdays. It's still better than The Bye Bye Man because I did find enjoyment in Slender Man.

The Boy (2016)
5/10
A good movie, but I've seen this before.
25 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
And by "I've seen this before" I mean that there's a movie that shares so many similarities with The Boy. Not to say that this one is bad, but it's not flawless. I feel like the entirety of the movie would have been good if it continued with the "possessed doll" feel to it to the very end. The twist ending, while it makes sense, is kind of what killed this movie for me. I do give it a 7/10 for great acting, amazing cinematography, a fantastic script, and outstanding pacing. The twist did make the ending bad, but that doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable to watch.

If you liked this movie, I recommend a New Zealand movie that feels similar, but it's a dark comedy, called Housebound.

Deadpool 2 (2018)
10/10
Better than the first!
4 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I don't think I have spoilers, but I'm gonna put a spoiler warning just in case!

I don't know if the negative reviews have even seen the same movie or not, but I felt that Deadpool 2 was better than the first (as the title dictates). Most of these reviewers say the movie wasn't funny but don't realize that comedy is subjective. Another complained about it having a lot of CGI. Hello? It's a modern superhero movie. Of course it's going to have a lot of CGI. Then another said Justice League was better.

Okay, now that's just plain wrong. Subjectivity and objectivity aside, Justice League was the 2nd worst movie I saw last year (The Bye Bye Man was awful) and I know plenty of people who would agree with me on that.

Anyways, now that that's out of the way. The high points of this movie consist of great acting, a fluid storyline, memorable characters, jokes that hit, Peter, the villain's reasoning, BACKSTORIES!, Peter, amazing cinematography, fantastic choreography, well directed, and it takes a note from the comic books on how Deadpool truly should be like. Oh, and did I mention Peter? Sugarbear?

All in all, other reviewers crap on this movie like no tomorrow and other reviewers praise it. At the end of the day, it's just like every other movie. Don't list to reviewers, not even me, just watch the movie yourself and make your own opinion. AMC theaters have $5 tickets on Tuesdays for Stubs members. No, this is not a paid advertisement.

Wow...just...wow!
10 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
To say it was all bad is being a little generous. This movie was a trainwreck all the way from the opening scene through the ending. As a college student, I would know that your professor WILL NOT tell you in class that a fellow student died. Your campus email will get something saying something about a student dying and when memorial situations will be held. That's not the only unrealistic thing about this movie. The character relations are just so bland and robotic. There's nothing to say that these people are actually friends because their conversations feel obviously scripted. Let's not even get started on Marina. Or should I say "petty". Seriously? The girl decides to ruin another girl's life because girl B didn't invite girl A to her birthday party. Wow. First rule of college, don't go friending someone that already has a group of friends! They're NOT going to spend so much time with YOU because YOU want to be THEIR friend. You have to friend her and her friends and just get into the group. What you DON'T do, is do what Marina did in this movie.

EVERYTHING about this movie is unrealistic. Nothing feels right in terms of fiction. I wanted to watch an interesting movie, but this was just a teen slasher that has teens yawning. And this is coming from someone who liked Unfriended. Friend Request is a waste of your time. Don't watch it, please.

American Horror Story: Election Night (2017)
Season 7, Episode 1
7/10
Election Night
5 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Going into American Horror Story CULT episode 1, I was a bit nervous that they were going to be very preachy about opinions and stuff, but I was happy to see that they weren't. They had perspectives of both sides of the spectrum and that's exactly what I would want in a show about politics. But that's just it. Only in a show about politics. CULT's opening episode is stronger than a few other seasons first episodes, so it gets the benefit of the doubt, but it meanders too much on the result of the election rather than showing the effect on Ally's character. Although it did show SOME effect on Ally (Sarah Paulson makes the return as: Crying Screaming Lead Woman) it didn't really hold up except for two moments. It did show the phobia scene in the psychologist's office really well, so I can give them the thumbs up on that one. Another thing I want to point out is the whole idea of the clown troupe. Are they real or are they a figment of Ally's imagination? And if they're fake, is Ally's phobia leaking over into her son's mind and now he is starting to see it. Like as if the mother is going crazy over something that isn't there and the negative effects are now rubbing off onto her child. That question is something I really enjoyed being asked. Murder House was simple, Asylum was overtly complex, Coven was well made, Freak Show was repetitive, Hotel is just weird, and Roanoke is wasted potential. What exactly would be used to describe Cult?

I'm hoping they don't go the route of Freak Show and have an exposition dump within the first four episodes and then have gore galore for the remainder of the season. I'm excited for whatever CULT has to offer.

Unfriended (2014)
8/10
An underrated gem
17 June 2017
I went into the theater for Unfriended years ago thinking not too highly of it. The trailer I had seen was pretty bad and I made a last minute decision to go see it. But I really enjoyed the movie and as soon as the credits started rolling, I wanted to see it again. Lucky for me, the movie was going to be releasing a couple months later and I bought a copy.

What I thought was sad about the movie was the fact that people hated on it solely because the trailer was absolutely garbage. I think a majority of horror movie junkies can agree that today's horror trailers are very very very bad. I don't blame the movie, I blame the producers.

What really made the film was the cast of teens that played off of each other's paranoia really well. The entirety of the movie felt like it was going to be overwhelming, but it stayed above the line and never got into bad territory.

I'm shocked and surprised by the lack of attention this movie got because of the trailer. Most people dismissed the movie because they thought it was Universal's cheap version of Insidious, which is not a fair assessment to make. Regardless of how it ended, I stand by that this movie is criminally underrated.

Would've been the perfect wrap-up of the series...
6 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
...if it hadn't been for the last 5-10 minutes of the film. I understand that there can't be a God without a Devil, but the way they ended the film was really stupid.

The buildup to the final fight scene could not be more beautiful! The art, the characters, and the story were wonderfully made; but the ending killed the entire movie.

One thing that I liked was how they told the story through Homura's perspective rather than Madoka's as they start a familiar story. From the beginning, instead of having the stoic Homura, we have the shyer and kinder one that slowly becomes the herself of the series. The symbolism of the movie is very vast and insanely deep, but the ending had something to be desired for.

To call it a cop-out would be too insulting, but they went a very ridiculous route by making Homura become the Devil after she escapes her soul gem. Believe me, I was not expecting that, but the route they ended up with seemed too condescending for me.

Good story, ending sucks. 6/10 BECAUSE of the ending.

Have you seen Jesus?
6 September 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I was born in a wasteland of a society. Nothing made sense, everything was cold. Then, light was brought upon my worthless existence. This light held the name "FoodFight!" Finally, my life had meaning. I created the church of FoodFight to worship the talent of Charlie Sheen in this film. Every day we practice the arts of early 2000 rendering on a budget.

Everything about this film is the absolute best. From its wonderful acting, to terrific animation, to the most orgasmic inducing Nazi references (low-key tho). If you haven't seen this masterpiece of a movie, then you haven't seen Jesus. Coming to a TV screen near you...your's.

The Graves (2009)
2/10
This movie...
28 August 2016
had to be taken from the CIA so they would stop using it against terrorists. It's cruel and unusual torture!

LOL

That aside, I'm probably being way too generous with a 5. This was not a good movie, y'all. I'm not going to get too into the movie because other reviewers have done a number on it. I'll just give my .02

The movie starts off promising, the title sequence feels reminiscent of Grindhouse films. Then it keeps going. The sisters Abby (Jillian Murray) and Megan (Clare Grant) Graves are unbelievably hot and they love comic books! What's so wrong with that? HAVE YOU EVER SEEN 2 HOT GIRLS GUSH ABOUT COMIC BOOKS?! Anyways, they have one last get together before Megan moves to New York. So they try to go to someplace in Arizona, and end up in Unity which is a town full of strange characters. They're told about Skull City Mines and they go check it out. Hijinks ensue.

I'll give my reasoning to a 5 now.

Plot: This plot is everywhere and nowhere. It has a lot to offer, but barely gives it. Two girls have fun, then they don't, but then demons? I'd give the plot a 2/10 for the good Children of the Corn vibes.

Characters: Really good chemistry between the sisters. Becca is also a good character. The villains are believable, especially Moseley. I'd give them a 7/10 for good characters.

Acting: Surprisingly well done for a B-movie. The actors were great in their roles, except for Tony Todd. It felt like he wasn't acting to his fullest potential. 7/10 for great acting, Todd takes away from it though...never thought I'd ever say that.

Special F/X: Don't EVEN get me started on how much I hated the digital blood. I can't rate this low enough, so I'd have to give the special F/X a 1/10 because they managed to actually get blood on their actors!

Setting/Cinematography: Not as good as past entries, but it's also a well done camera work. The setting is really amazing, even for a desert it looks breathtaking. 6/10 for this.

Now, after doing the calculations, the score would come out to be a 4.6. I normally round up my numbers, which would give a 5. The movie is really nothing special, it just needed a few things for it to be good. Like; F/X, a good plot; but that was already covered. This was not my least favorite of the bunch, but it sure as hell isn't my favorite of the ADH4. In fact, to this day I have yet to watch Dread and Hidden (which are supposed to be the best).

I want to say this movie is underrated, but it should have a slightly higher score than 3.7/10. That's just too mean for this movie.

Shimoneta! What a Show!
28 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist is probably one of the best satires that has ever been made into an anime. This series takes Japanese, nay, the WORLD'S issues of censorship and turns it into a joke that shows what this world would look like where it is literally outlawed to say dirty words.

Most people may overlook this series primarily because it has to do with a "dirty terrorist" that spouts of obscenities at any given moment, but that's not reading deeply into it. Regardless of this series being set in an alternate world, it is quite obvious that the creator wanted to give a message that this is the path we're heading down if things aren't changed. This anime couldn't have come sooner as it was aired during this era of political correctness BS which has been a hassle upon most of humanity. This series shows Okuma Tanukichi trying to live a daily high school life turned on its head when he learns that the "dirty terrorist", Blue Snow, goes to his school and is actually part of the student council! What follows is an event no person could understand as except absurdity as more people follow Blue Snow's example, except use the "dirty terrorism" as a way to just strike fear and not bring a message forward. Now, the accurately understand this show, you must know that the main character, Okuma, is a teen trying to get away from his past and inadvertently getting sucked into what he was trying to avoid. Ayame is a girl who is fed up with a flawed system that will lead to nothing but trouble. Anna is a princess who has been untouched by the dirtiness of the world and is lead astray at the end of episode 3. Characters get a 9/10 for being very supportive together and doesn't kill a joke when presented. Story gets a 10/10 for being laughably absurd and yet smart on it's own way. Animation is fantastic! And the voice acting is superb!

All in all, give Shimoneta a watch and create an idea for yourself. Just keep this in mind, this is definitely not a kid's show. They will not understand anything that happens and it's too mature for them. And remember, at least it's not Umaru!

Krampus (I) (2015)
9/10
I'm Dreaming of a Krampus Christmas!
10 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
...okay maybe not. But the points I do want to get across start with the opening credits. Oh hey! It actually does have opening credits! This is part of the more comedic section of the movie as it opens with a "average" Christmas shopping day as people trample, fight, and hurt others just to get presents. This all happens in slow motion while "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" plays. Michael Doughtery, you have outdone yourself! So, we get the main characters at the end of the credits as we see a slow motion of our lead, Max, in a fight during a Christmas play. This is a genius idea to open a movie! It only gets better. From there we meet Omi, the German grandmother; the cousins and the entire other family, Dorothy, and Rosie the bulldog. Everything is like a normal Christmas get-together; some bickering at the table, someone complaining about the food not being good, and the cousins being complete jerks to Max. Normal stuff. Then things turn serious after Stevie (one of the cousins) reads Max's letter to Santa at the dinner table. This infuriates Max to the point where he shouts he hates all of them and he hates Christmas. He runs upstairs and then rips up the letter after his Dad talks to him. He throws it out the window where its whisked up into the air. Unbeknownst to the family, a snowstorm is settling in. This storm wipes out the power of all around them, and that's the least of their problems! I don't want to get into spoilers or talk about the ending because everyone will have a different view on how it ends. It's a loose ending and its used to a good advantage to make the audience wonder what happened. It's not near masterpiece, but its really good for a new Christmas horror movie. One of the last ones we got was Silent Night, Deadly Night; and well, that sucked. If I were to break down the film and feature my favorite part, it would have to be when Beth is running from a tall dark figure with horns while it chases her from rooftop to rooftop. This is amazing because it shows that Krampus isn't some evil thing that only came to kill them, but a thing that is having fun tormenting them. He is obviously having fun, especially during that and the laugh scene. The costumes are well done, the creature effects are MAINLY practical, the script is not dry, and it's an all around a fun film. I give it an A- on an F scale. If you want to see Doughtery's other works that is highly praised, check out his other holiday (not Christmas) work Trick 'r Treat.

Poltergeist (2015)
9/10
It wasn't too bad, guys!
28 May 2015
Warning: Spoilers
When you have a remake you can't really set it up to the original to be EXACTLY like the original. That would be boring and a waste of film. I watched the original when it was on TV one Halloween, and I fell in love with the film! Everything about it was wonderful! I think I was...7? 8? Anyways, I went to go see this the Friday that it opened because I was so excited to see it. Sam Rockwell was one of my favorite actors from the forgetful time between 1986 and 1991 as he starred in "Clownhouse" which was a marvel. Anyways, I was watching this movie and even though it does have jump scares, the idea that they were able to remake the movie and still have a good idea of the cast and how the characters were was good enough for me. Sure it was no Spielburg, but nothing will ever be the same as the original. I like to view this as its own movie and not one connected to an original, because then it looks better, feels better, and all in all is better. The character Madison was well thought out and was a good new take on Carol Anne. I liked how well the family reacted, they felt more like a family than other remakes (or sequels *cough cough* Poltergeist 3 *cough cough*) they felt more human. I do have cons for it though, I hate jump scares. They aren't scary, but they are a tacky waste. Given that, some movies kind of need at least a few to keep the ball rolling. This movie desperately needed it as if it hadn't most people would call it a yawn-fest or a snoozeathon. And not only that, but it would make the teenagers nowadays want to know more and seek the original. That's why this movie helps, rather than destroys this series' reputation. I liked the movie and will gladly see it again.

Humour Got Run Over by a Reindeer
11 December 2014
Granted that I loved this special when I was about six, now as I watched it again I realized that it was the biggest piece of rubbish I'd ever seen. The characters are one dimensional, the plot goes back and forth, the song transitions look like someone tried their least and came out with this abomination, and the only thing that redeems this crap fest is the animation. For a low budget (and I mean REALLY low budget), names never heard around the household as leads, and a horrible song to go around with it, it keeps kind of a pretty good feel from the animation.

If you've seen this then you've probably witnessed the horrors of this program. Every time they show this on TV I try my best to either look for a better show or look at it from a different perspective. However, every single time I try to look at it a different way, it gets worse. Now back to the animation, it is really smooth. It renders well and it looks like walking, running, skating, blading, etc. when you see it. But that only saves it from getting a complete and utter 0. Humour got run over a reindeer and it never recovered.

One of the Best Pixar Disney movies!
15 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This movie has to have the best meaning out of all the movies Disney/Pixar have ever made. The whole meaning of friendship, loyalty, love, and compassion are compressed together in this delightful movie. I will recommend UP for several people until I can't talk anymore. Great film! It has strong equal characters too. Carl's love for Ellie went farther than beyond her death. He even took the house to the place they wanted it to be!He meets Russell and Doug make great companions for Carl, even though he doesn't want any. In the end, compassion and love overcome Carl just in time to save Russell from the danger of the skies
