Prey (2022)
White men are the devil!
Another movie depicting how white men are the absolute worst thing to ever happen to this planet. Also when were native Americans in 1719 biracial and speak perfect English? Just another woke movie from Disney/Hulu. All entertainment factors are gone and every movie must depict how awful white people are. Disappointing and boring. Don't waste your time.
Triggered (2020)
One giant cringe fest
This movie is labeled a horror comedy but I don't think the writers, director or actors knew about the comedy part. Every time the actors say a funny line it's almost as if they don't realize it's intended to be funny. Very strange. It also feels like it was written by an eighth grader trying to look cool in front of older high schoolers.
Supermarket Sweep (2020)
Horrific!
The charm of the original series is completely gone. All this show is is an ego boost for the new host. All of the fun the original show had is gone thanks to the awful Leslie jones. All she does is yell and scream over the contestants to try and make it all about her.
Awake: The Million Dollar Game (2019)
Unbearable host
The contestants all seem like bad actors who are reading from a script. Also there really aren't that many challenges, it's just all about the host attempting to be funny. I like the concept of the show, if only it seemed real and with a different host it would be more enjoyable.
Creep (2014)
The WORST!
Usually not one to review a title unless it is just a steaming pile of unwatchable slop, so I felt compelled to review this title since it is even worse than that. The acting is simply dreadful. The story line is literally nowhere to be found, as well as any sort of creativity or any ounce of originality. There was no comedic value, no suspense; nothing. I found myself so incredibly bored and uninterested that I had trouble even finishing it. I was expecting some sort of new and creative twist or even some sort of shred of hope, but was left with nothing. I honestly could have made a better film with a stranger and an iPhone 3 video camera. Avoid this one at all costs, and for god's sakes do not endorse the two sequels to this that are in the works. I'm not even sure how they got the funding after this poor spectacle.
Afflicted (2013)
Unoriginal & shaky rip-off of Chronicle.
Looking for something interesting and thrilling? Look elsewhere. I was excited to watch this after reading numerous raving reviews on here, but I am not sure we even watched the same movie. It is a complete rip off of Chronicle. Not one thing is new or innovative or even slightly original. The acting is painfully awkward and the actors have really strange insincere reactions to everything that happens to them. I found myself completely uninterested and bored throughout the entire movie. I kept waiting and waiting for it to be over, and it just kept going. I would strongly suggest skipping this. Wasting money to watch this one would be a travesty.
Delivery (2013)
One Word: BORING
This is not a horror, nor a thriller; it is the worst categorized movie of all time. All of these user comments that say there is a twist are out of their minds. The twist is that there is no twist. It's an uninspired, unoriginal found footage documentary about an over dramatic, pregnant woman dealing with her pregnancy. And that is all. It is not a mix of Paranormal Activity or Rosemary's Baby at all, it's just a trick to get you to watch it, and hopefully spend money on it. I kept waiting for something to happen, or for the much-hyped "twist" to occur and it never did. I kept waiting until the credits started. Avoid this one at all costs...
Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014)
I thought this was supposed to be a horror movie...
Honestly, I am a huge fan of the first two movies but after that they should have stopped. Money is their main priority now, not the horror or the scares. Sadly this movie tries to set itself apart from the others (which is probably good that there wasn't a 5th) and fails miserably. There is no atmosphere, tension, or thrill to this one. Just pointless this and that scene with no rhyme or reason to what's happening. They are out of ideas and it shows. I was completely bored and underwhelmed. The acting is horrible, and the story line is not unique or interesting in the slightest. Avoid this one unless you don't have a wall to stare at.
V/H/S/2 (2013)
Wouldn't watch it again if you paid me.
And here I thought the first one was bad. Even though I thought the first one was the dumbest thing, I thought maybe the team behind the franchise would have improved or matured enough to make a more enjoyable sequel, but wow was I wrong. Nothing is new here. Everything in this movie we have already seen, they just do it worse here. I think the only money that was spent on this movie was the $100 they spent on the GoPro cameras. The people behind this movie must see their audience as morons and it is highly offensive that they thought this would be entertaining or scary. You would only assume that the loophole they found around making a complete story with a beginning, middle and end they would be able to make something truly scary without having to explain it but this just fails. The acting is painful and the storyline feels like it was written by a film student on their first day of class. Avoid this one at all costs because it doesn't even deserve one star.
The Lords of Salem (2012)
Even worse than his Halloween remake if you can believe it.
Honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Nothing we haven't seen before; woman supposedly gives birth to the devil (in this case something resembling a turnip). I'm not even sure why that narcissistic Rob Zombie was given the right to write and direct movies, and this is a prime example of why he should never do it again. It's just a bunch of pointless dream sequences after pointless dream sequences that have no correlation with each other. The lack of storyline and plot holes are difficult to overlook and the acting is painfully awkward. Awful.
I'm really glad I did not pay to see this and hope you don't either. Don't give this failure any more money so that he doesn't punish us with anymore of his movies.
Tape 407 (2012)
Literally the worst.
Another one of those found footage movies that you really wish nobody ever "found". Not only are the characters super fake and annoying, they all entirely ad-libbed their lines, which sets you up for each character repeating everything over and over since there was no script. The special effects are even worse. It's almost physically painful to watch. I really wish they could make a good found footage movie without the acting being super awkward. Nothing about it was realistic or even close to believable. The little girl with the pigtails will make you wanna rip your head off. She says she's thirteen but she acts like a little five year old. It's exhausting. If you are unfortunate enough to watch this movie then you are in for an hour and thirty minutes of pure torture.
Grave Encounters (2011)
I created an account just to review this. AWFUL!
What an awful movie. I'm not sure if someone actually approved of the script before they made this, or if they just made it without having been proofread. I was compelled to watch it after seeing the other reviews here giving it such high criticism. I was seeing creepy images on Tumblr from this film, and they made it sound and look really scary. But if you are looking to be scared and entertained, I would skip this movie. It was awful. I found myself completely bored, and the acting was extremely awkward. If this movie scared you, then you need serious help. I have yet to be truly scared by any film in the past two years. Don't even bother paying to see this, because anyone involved in the production of this movie deserves no reconciliation.
