War of the Worlds (2019)
In the Style of the walking dead....
...yes all the walking parts. Man there was a lot of downtime parts in this series. I like different takes on an old story but i hoped the writers of the show could have put a bit more storyline in this show. It is a very slow build to actually nothing happening at all. They took the last 7 episodes of the season to tell what they could have done in 1 or 2 episodes.
Santa Clarita Diet (2017)
I demabd season 4
This series had a briljant mix of comedy, horror and good acting. Casting is very on point.
Twin Peaks: The Return (2017)
Only for insane David lynch fans
David lynch hasn't lost his trick of making series/films while he is drunk and on acid. He just seems to scribble his random thoughts on scraps of paper for couple of months, juggle them in the air and then form a nice stack. He then randomly picks half the stack and throws that in the shredder. The other part he uses to make a series or film while he probably still is using a lot of acid.
He managed to get a cult following this way who gobble up everything he makes. And get mad when you tell them they are watching crap, usual retort is: "You don't understand the series/film. He is a visionary..."
I read some interviews how he works and i think i am not far off in guessing his creative processes. But i got to give it to David lynch, he made money by selling utterly insane and confusing crap without any logic in it. And got a cult following with it. He must be smiling every day.
TPB AFK: The Pirate Bay Away from Keyboard (2013)
Missing a lot of useful information
I must honestly say TPB AFK is not a real good doc. It doesn't give a lot of information, you can basically list the info given in 5 sentences. There is so much more info able to be given in this subject. The build-up is pretty bad aswel and the info given is chaotic. Lots of fragments seem to be randomly edited together. If Simon Klose would only watched other docu- makers or took loose change as an example he could reach a bigger audience without them falling a sleep. Don't get me wrong i support the idea of the Piratebay and frown upon the mass corporations and their copyright laws but this documentary just didn't hit the spot cause there wasn't enough information and it wasn't well edited.
