Baccha Shoshur (2019)
Refreshingly Original Concept
The concept of your deceased father-in-law possessing your own son is quite novel and original. This is one thing which you will be dying to know 😆
The film is helped by some good and honest performances from the lead actors.
The film peaks mainly during the emotional scenes and some of the scenes can be tear jerkers so don't forget to put some tissues with you while watching this flick.
The film although presented as a comedy gives us a deep social message regarding.... (won't tell you. See the film 😎)
The only negatives were some of the scenes where there was over the top acting and huge disconnect between the emotional scenes and the comedy scenes. It felt like that the comedy scenes and emotional scenes each belong to a different film which shouldn't have been the case.
Jeet has sort of reinvented himself with this film and I sincerely hope that he continues with the good work. Kaushani was also good.
Chiranjit Sir is a legend and I dont comment about legends 😂
All the supporting actors also played their parts satisfactorily.
Overall it's a great attempt of bringing back ORIGINAL MAINSTREAM CINEMA.
Special mention to Pavel for coming up with a refreshing original content.
Rainbow Jelly (2018)
Underrated Gem
I am guilty of not watching this film earlier.
I had seen the trailer when it had released and didn't find it interesting enough.
Almost 1 year later I found some glowing reviews about this film and decided to give it a try and man I was utterly in shock of how good this film was.
Every actor has done their job marvellously. Kaushik Sen was truly a stand out. The child actor successfully brought out the vulnerability of the character. As a viewer you will feel connected to that character.
Sreelekha Mitra was good and Shantilal was ever reliable.
I am intentionally not giving anything about the movie.
Go and watch for yourself and get pleasently surprised 😍😍
Bãhubali: The Beginning (2015)
Indian MAGNUM OPUS
Baahubali : A true magnum opus in every aspect.
A visual treat in every frame from the start to the finish.
SS Rajmouli, the man behind original counterparts of ROWDY RATHORE, MAKKHI, SON OF SARDAR, MAGADHEERA gives a fitting answer to the world that India is not behind in terms of VFX and SFX.
The most expensive film till date in India and the massive scale of the film shows itself in every frame.
Baahubali takes us to the mythical world of larger than life heroes, fairies, king and their massive kingdoms and trust me it's not at all meaningless.
The story is pretty simple with a revenge saga featuring two warring cousins who want to have the throne for themselves. So it's obvious, one is good and the other is bad. Basically, a good v/s evil revenge saga but it has a lot more, much more to offer.
Prabhas and Rana Daggubati feature as warring cousins and their hard work shows through their performance.
Tamannah Bhatia is a goddess in every aspect. She perfectly plays the role of a warrior whose feminine side is unearthed by our hero. She literally seduces the audience with her flawless skin, her curves and her hourglass figure.
Ramya Krishna and Sathyaraj play a good role in supporting the film with their powerful performance.
The performance and the makeup of Anushka Shetty was a huge surprise for me as an old woman. The makeup team and the VFX team have done a great job here.
It's not the end!! I Just cant stop talking about the GREATNESS of this film. tongue emoticon Until then, I eagerly wait for BAAHUBALI : THE CONCLUSION, scheduled for release in 2016.
