The Tomorrow War (2021)
This film has truly inspired me ...
... to sit down and start writing scripts myself!
To Everyone:
If this bottomless plot hole can be made into a feature film with $200M budget, with a lead actor like Chris Pratt and amazing CGI, so can anything I can write. My idea for a science fiction drama also takes place 30 years from now, except mine has realistic real world plot, relatable family issues, and believable technology that is just over the horizon. After seeing this film full of missed logic, I am truly inspired to get mine written.
Spoiler Alert!
To Reviewers:
If you think this film does not force a Hollywood political agenda here, think again.
1. In the film, the human species may go extinct due the results of "global warming".
2. Watch closely as Hollywood once again fights racial stereotypes.
Chris Pratt:
You are a respectable actor, and an intelligent, kind hearted, logical human being. I have watched your work from the beginning. I can only imagine the internal battle you had during the production of this film - to whether call out the writers for the terrible logic both in the plot and of your character, or to just keep your mouth shut, respect the writers and producers, and just act as you're told. I'm glad they paid you well for this, hopefully more than the writers. I would have loved to been in the room with you when you read the script for the first time! "Why doesn't my character just... ugh never mind."
To Hollywood:
You have once again shown your arrogant, yet ignorant, confidence in your superiority over the rest of America. Do you truly feel that you can produce a feature film with such deep plot holes, that they will go unnoticed by the general public if you cast a hot actor and fantastic CGI? Seriously, how dumb do you think people are?
Hollywood, we are not as dumb as you may think. If fact YOU are dumb for how YOU think we think.
10 Stars for Chris Pratt
10 Stars for graphics
Zero stars for writing
6.6 Stars average.
Dallas: Guilt & Innocence (2013)
Pamela and Christopher are biological cousins.
In this episode I realized Pamela was carrying babies of her biological cousin Christopher.
Case 39 (2009)
Edge of my seat.
Crazy. I knew something was peculiar when the dramatic scene with the parents came so soon. There had to be more to come. I had a good idea what was really going on, but how it would play out was the question. It became one of these films I was scared to keep watching, but had to!
I recommend to anyone who likes a good thriller without all the blood, gore, profanity, or sex. I was on the edge of my seat the entire film.
Step by Step: Do the Right Thing (1996)
Oven
At the end of the episode, Cody, JT, and Frank leave the house with the oven still on.
Dismissed (2017)
Eerily fascinating.
The character of Lucas Ward had me invested. In face, he resonated with me. He knows what he deserves and doesn't take disrespect from anyone. I grinned with satisfaction when he said to the other student "Maybe I should stab my pen through your windpipe and staple your tongue to the roof of your mouth."
Perfection.
I give 9 stars to the writing, 10 stars to Dylan Sprouse, and 10 stars to the astounding Lucas Ward.
The Open House (2018)
Motivating.
This movie has motivated to write my own screenplay. Yes, if this incomplete and confusing script can cast decent actors and be produced for Netflix, so can mine.
Bates Motel: The Cord (2017)
The series was never a prequel. Get over it.
The only way to remain consistent with Psycho would be to kill off Dylan, which I was anticipating throughout the whole final episode. I almost turned it off when Norman came at Dylan with the knife because I couldn't bare the thought of Dylan suffering his death at the mercy of crazy Norman Bates. I was ready to shoot Norman myself this entire season, but I'm glad Dylan did it.
Stop insisting this was a prequel, it was never advertised as such. Every episode indicates the series is only "Based on the characters". Only when you can abandon the idea it was a prequel, you can live with this ending. The writers were planning to end the series on this season, so they could ultimately do what they wanted at the very end, as they had nothing to lose from bad reviews.
I'm glad it ended the way it did.
The Underneath (2013)
Natalie Wilemon delivered an excellent performance
"The Underneath" turned out to be a lot creepier than expected. What I thought was going to be a lame low budget horror flick turned out to be creepy as hell, giving me chills to see the creatures underground. This left images in my head that will come to mind the next time I am rock climbing or in the woods. I would not recommend watching this alone or before bed - you will not sleep! Actress Natalie Wilemon gave an excellent performance in this horror flick. She brought Jessie's character to life and adequately expressed the distress and desperation she was going through. Keep an eye out for this girl because she will be something big!
