The Rookie (2018)
Get's worse as the seasons go on
Starts funny in season one with and old rookie cop that is trying his best to pass and be accepted. Funny situatons that gors with Fillions acting style. Then after two seasons it nd ends up being another "us against the world" show with conspiracies and police officers that over night become special forces and fights mafia and criminal organizations. "The rookie" concept is totally lost once he passes and becomes a police officer.
Once you have finished season 2 don't torture yourself with season 3 and 4.
Overall I give it two stars but the first two seasons I would have given six because it is true to the basic concept and is entertaining.
Marco effekten (2021)
Nothing left of dep. Q and the characters
What happened.? Assad is a 100% Danish guy with nothing that adds to the story. The could have called him Preben and nothing would have changed.
All the charactera are flat, dull and adds nothing extra. Carl chewing nicotine gum as his life depended of it is just annoying.
The whole film reminds me of danish tv-series such as "Reiseholdet" where no one would notice if they changed the actors.
Where is the original story in all this? Most likely buried with the victims from the rest of the dep. Q-series.
Steer away.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Booooring
Standard story but oh so boring. One should expect that when big guns and a power saw is in the arsenal that is really put to use but no.
The characters are just stupid/two dimensional and they can die. I don't care because I feel absoutely nothing for them.
And what an ending........
Batwoman (2019)
Painful to watch
Xtremely steroeotypical and just stupid. Maybe I should have given it more than the pilot episode but it was painful to watch from the start to the end. Hopefully season one is the end.
San Andreas (2015)
Sharknado with a much larger budget
While Sharknado was meant to be good fun San Andreas was meant to be all serious. The quality of the stories are the same but where Sharknado was meant to be fun San Andreas is just plain ridiculous and stupid. When some of the reviewers say that San Andreas is a good disaster movie they must have been seeing something I did not see. Yes, the destruction of the city looks good but when they mix in scenes so unrealistic and stupidly heroish it all falls apart. I guess they intended to add at least some realism to the movie but there is not a scene in the movie that even comes close to being realistic.
OMG! Did I mention the acting and the dialogue? It's not worth the energy talking about it. See it for yourself and cry (or laugh if you like pain).
I want to see "Sharknado in San Andreas". That could have been a good movie. As long as it is not intended to be taken seriously. Because that is not what San Andreas is. It basically sucks and is nowhere near being realistic.
