Maybe it's my child memories loving it that makes me mad about the 4.1. Maybe it's seeing truly garbage movies hit the big screen in recent years. Maybe it's knowing that people took this movie way to seriously to give it 1s and 2s and such. Maybe I'm rambling just to let them allow me to post this review and rating. Maybe like 800 characters is an absolutely ridiculous amount of letters required to send in a review. I have wrote college essays that were around this length. Yeah maybe not all of them an A. But hey! In the end I passed and graduated. I'm almost there now. Getting very very close. Got It.

Like everyone else here I used to love the show. More you learn about how fake and set up it is the more its ruined for you. I know they have to do that because they don't really work the counter anymore, and they can't have cameras rolling 24/7 just hoping to get a seller in there with something interesting. But its still lost alot of magic for me. I kinda wish I was still ignorant to the facts about how fake it is, so I could still enjoy it. Does still rock the cool history though.

I decided to watch this because I saw Dennis Haysbert was in this. I figured it was a relative low budget movie and even before starting figured I might not finish it, but wanted to give it a go because of Dennis. I was glad I did. It was nothing amazing but I was impressed on how it got me hooked. Started at the card game scene. Couple little twist in there. Pretty decent acting. Some decisions can be scrutinized, thats fair. But overall I was satisfied with the time spent on it. For a kinda random pick i can't complain to much. I would recommend giving it a go.

I think there's just a disconnect from what movies are suppose to be and accomplish and some of the viewers. Some movies are what they are but beat down for various reasons. Idk sometimes feel were to harsh on movies with an obvious target audience and age group. Its really not a bad movie. And no its not all time memorable either.

Season 1 of this show was incredible. I was hooked. The setting the story path, the acting all great. I got ahead of myself and told people to watch it. Second season comes and it was kind of a letdown. I got through it hoping for it to return to season 1 standards. Season 3 I made it 4 episodes and stopped. Its just not as interesting to me anymore. Maybe change of setting, rotation of charaters didn't strike my fancy. Not sure. But season 1 is the highlight for me.

I agree that this season is the weakest so far. Not the biggest fan of the storylines. I personally haven't found them all that interesting. Not going to give up on the show and hope its just a bump in the road and not whats to come.

The guy clearly had issues, and made stupid decisions. Was way out there. Broke the laws.. But never the less it is an interesting story and well made documentary.

Typical silly decisions by characters. Ridiculous scenes. Laughable dialogue. Not good acting. Of course weak story with the length of franchise at this point. Some cool kills is about all this has to offer.

To start off I only watched the Pappy gate episodes of this show. As a bourbon fan from Kentucky it was the only one that interested me. Some of the "scenes" and "acting" portions a little cheesey. But the overall story and what happened is very interesting. Hearing it from the man himself makes it keep your attention. I cant speak to the other heist stories and episodes, but this one is worth the watch.

I'd say the show stopped being awesome around season 4. Then turned to okay, and now its utter garbage. It is just hard to say it's 8-10 or greatness. When you compare to critically acclaimed shows like Breaking Bad. Better call Saul. GoT (maybe minus last season) or even to shows like Dexter and Yellowstone. I guess my point is, the 9-10 rating and everything is kinda silly and the show is amateur hour compared to truly great shows. To each their own, but past 6-7 seasons of TWD are barely better quality than day time soaps.

Like many have said, this movie either has people who love it or hate it. I find it true that many scenes are either laughable with the special effects or cringy. Also, i found it predictable and not all that scary with just a few jump scares. 8-10s in my opinion for it to go to a horror movie belong to the likes of hereditary, conjuring type movies. They have much less cringe, and more creepy scenes and leaves you thinking. This movie left me quick.

NY finest is the episode that got you considering in your mind a Punisher show. Penny and Dime made you think how great it would be. This episode solidified your idea.

Just wanted to say I watched it all awhile back around the time it ended and didn't rate it. Watched it again and yeah its a 10! Punisher and Daredevil taken away too soon from us! Such great TV!

Way to fake and staged to enjoy. Its just hard to really enjoy something that is so cringe. I like Bear. Even though I have read he has the reputation of being fake more than most shows like this. And I'm not just referring to the lost animal situations. My kids enjoy it though.

For some reason I really really love this movie. I mean I think its funny. But at same time I think its so relatable and makes you just kinda see this stuff is normal (for the most part). But at same time its not a boeing movie about life either. Paul and Leslie are awesome of course. But there's just something about it makes me love this movie

Its a well made and fairly unique plot. Acting was good, script was solid. Maybe missed some chances on some scenes. Overall I would recommend. 7.5/10

I'm not going to spend time going through the events of the movie. As probably most of everyone has seen it by now or read enough highlight reviews.

This movie I think is summed up great by one of the critics who rated the movie. "Easy to admire, but a challenge to love" To me it's a movie that the intriguing story and events of a life through great story telling that sticks with you. Its ambitious, its risky and it pays off. I dont really agree with it being slow even with the run time. It had my attention like a good book. The acting by the leads is just superb. Brad Pitt really flexes his abilities (I happen to thing hes a great actor) and couldnt imagine another co star aside from Cate. Just trying to imagine being put into his shoes through stages of his life is difficult, interesting and scary to thing about. Which this is the type of stuff the movies gets to stick with you. You experience joy sadness and everything in between. And getting "lost" in the movie is what really takes your breath away. 9/10

First of all, it's fun for my son who is 6. He thinks it's cool and it beats watching bluey or spongebob again. However, they could have made it great for adults too but missed the mark. Everything is way too staged. I understand that these types of shows have to be to an extent. But things like human hand bones and a fake wreckage is pushing it. It makes it fall short on realism and real choices. I'm honestly not sure what I would want differently on the choices themselves. I'm torn between him giving more information. Or just saying here's the choices with no info and just seeing what we'd pick with no influence. Overall, main complaint is the realism of the scenarios.

When I saw this show was coming. I got pretty excited. Huge craft beer fan and thought "ah this will be cool, I can drink beer and watch a comedy about beer!" But dang the characters are so unlikable. Aside from my interest in beer this show offers nothing else to me. I kinda chuckled on some jokes. But mostly was too annoyed and exhausted from annoying characters to be in the mood to really laugh. I think it is an missed opportunity on show. What could have been 4 or 5 seasons, will be lucky to get one more now.

Yeah there are flaws. Some silliness. But it's fun to watch. And kinda cool.

I honestly dont understand the amount of people upset over this. Is it a masterpiece? No. But It did was it was meant to do in wrapping up pinkmans story. Had intense moments. Gave people some of the BB cast they wanted. I saw people saying wasnt worth the 6 year wait..... It literally went public like 2 months before release... ratings of 6 and below is just ridiculous. Even comparing with the perfection Of the show it's not a "4" movie. You wanna rate 4s and such watch movies like birdemic or going overboard. I mean really guys? The movie didn't undo anything from the show. It didnt add any ridiculous story or sorry attempts to be shocking, it was just a good continuation and ending to a story. And as in all Vince's BB world. The acting was on point.

Well, this review will not tell you anything new as far as a summary of events, or anything that isn't popular opinion. Most shifting through these probably seen it all anyways. To the rare few who havent. This has to be the greatest show ever created. From the start the show flexed its muscles on engaging story and Incredible acting. The twist of events that happen and how walt managing to keep the train rolling. Amazing talents of acting such as crawl space. The writing and story so engaging. Being able to blend comedy into serious situations without taking away from the gravity of the moment is unmatched and always timed correctly. Theres a reason this is ranked 5th highest on imdb. (Although , not sure how itz below some with less rating and less votes). The legacy of this show brought us better call saul and now the movie. In their reunion it was brought up as the greatest show ever. And modestly Bryan Cranston said it's for people to decide. Jonathan Banks interrupted and said it is. Which I got to say I agree.

If you play poker, this movie will make you cringe. It's kind of like you get embarrassed just watching it. Like people said it's not in the same field as Rounders. It's not even as good as lucky you. Which I thought had a few cringey moments of dialogue. But overall still much better than this. The grand is a worthwhile movie over this aswell as a comedy with a poker story. Anyways, the acting is very subpar. The lead character just isnt super likeable. Probably stems from me just being turned off by the script. Poker movies will generally have some of the same formats and story lines to some extent. That's why execution, acting, and dialogue is so important and this movie falls short. All in all just keep rewatching Rounders. And maybe occasionally throw in lucky you and the grand for your poker movie fix.
