Resident Alien (2021– )
8/10
SyFy has a Real Winner
23 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I normally don't watch much Sci-fi but Resident Alien is a breath of fresh air. It's V meets Fargo as Alan Tudyk plays a malevolent Alien who's disguised as a human to help the police solve the murder of the town's doctor.

Call Me Kat (2021–2023)

Positive and Quirky
1 February 2021
Mayim Bialik has comedic awkwardness as this love lorn, 39-year old Cafe owner. It's light hearted and never too serious. Even when Kat has squabbles with her mom it's done in a humorous manner. It's relatable because we've all gone through squabbles with our parents when we were adults. It's no Award winner but Call Me Kat is worth watching.

Still Derivative of the WWE
21 November 2020
IMPACT on AXS is a consistent show, which is the best compliment I can say about it. It's a consistent show week to week, but there has not been a significant turnaround. Some of the content is derivative from the WWE. Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan are clearly a rip-off of Sasha Banks. Kylie Rae's happy-go-lucky gimmick is blatantly ripped-off from Bayley. And The Rascalz logo is derived from the New Day's logo and colors. IMPACT has given Ken Shamrock a second career as a wrestler and the creative team didn't tinker with Tenille Dashwood's gimmick too much; it's the same as her character in the WWE. But the fans who gush over IMPACT on Twitter and Freakin' Awesome Networks are paid IMPACT employees who aren't legitimate fans.

Unextraordinary and Unfunny
3 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Zoey has an MRI because she's having severe headaches. When an earthquake happens during the MRI, she now gets super powers and can read people's innermost thoughts only through the power of pop music. She can't turn it off and can hear The Beatles song "Help!" from passerby on the streets of San Francisco.

It has a star studded cast but the show isn't funny. The first ten minutes it was painful to sit through and watch. All it is people singing popular music all the time, every time. I like Jane Levy but there's nothing extraordinary in Zoey's Playlist.

Amateurish but Promising
9 December 2019
Kelly does bring a bumbly personality to the show. She says "y'all" a bit too much and there moments when it feels amateurish but there's a sparkling persona about her which makes it work. Her best episode, so far, is Tom Hanks' movie A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a whole show dedicated to Fred Rogers.
