Black Widows (2016)
Deliciously Adorable
Cute, fun, and awesome! Girls getting revenge for the misdeeds of men. This movie was shot very well with an anamorphic lens. Although the cinematography was basic, it held all the elements together on a budget. The acting was on par and the dialogue was fast drawing you into the crazy world of women bent on revenge. And the women! Well let's just say, all of them deliciously adorable
with a bit of a nasty edge. Smoke a joint ya'll and have some fun! Super fun twist at the end! Not gonna take your breath away and make you commit to a life long partnership... but definitely a fun romp in the park!
Arlie (2016)
the essence of growing up
I remember my first junior high school dance. We went to cheap diner or red lobster or something like that! All ten of us boys...no girls. Dressed in mix matched suit jackets and skinny ties. This Film captures the essence of growing up in the suburbs or anywhere for that matter. Take the time capsule back to middle school with Arlie! Super cute and amazing child actors! Joseph P. Scott embodies every single gym teacher I ever had! Stellar performance.
Here Lies Joe (2016)
superb acting from all of the cast
Two depressed people find a bond as they both endeavor to overcome their inner demons. Well Shot and superb acting from all of the cast!
This is a cute little short film that is funny, charming, and heartfelt. Timothy J. Cox opens this lovely film with intriguing wit ~ definitely deserving of his best supporting actor award! Looking forward to more from the entire cast and crew.
School Zone (2015)
An excellent example of fine story telling.
This is a cute little comedy crossing themes of bullying and multicultural education. Enjoyable, poignant, and heartfelt. Soon to be a show winner! The acting is wonderfully natural and the scenes are shot very well with production design and lighting that takes you back to memory lane... high school! The only giveaway that this little gem was shot on a micro budget was the lack of the use of a wide shot or moving frames. But In my opinion, that's a much better choice than that hand held sea sick making current trend in low budget films. Most importantly, this film is very well written! An excellent example of fine story telling.
